  1. Kelty to win comfortably, the Loons second, Annan third, the Citizens fourth. Cowdenbeath to die a fiery painful death and never be seen again.
  2. Great result, very decent performance too. I think we edged it and deserved our win. Hutton impressed, PJ had his best game in a while and Matty was in the right place for a well worked goal. Some referees would’ve given Reilly a straight red was that dangerous challenge, I think the lack of intent saved him.
  3. Pitch inspection due at 2pm, a lot of rain in the central belt and more predicted
  4. Cowdenbeath game off tomorrow due a Covid outbreak in the Forfar squad. I’d imagine the midweek game against Stirling may be in doubt too?
  5. Epic time wasting tactics that the ref allowed , that annoyed me more than him missing the blatant hand ball in the box. We gave it away in the first half by not turning up, the Citizens had as easy a first half as they’ll get but, as you say, largely pinned back in the second. I did see a big improvement in Edinburgh since the last game against us.
  6. The stewards didn’t give them any grief, actually we’re having banter with them (straight from the drummer’s mouth), not all the stewards are bad but the worst ones give them a bad name.
  7. That match was lost due to our first half lack of performance, some great play in the second but ran out of ideas and luck. A masterclass in time wasting from the Edinburgh players which they were allowed to do by the woeful ref. Fortress Station Park is a thing of the past now
  8. Agreed, players and away fans will have travelled or be well on their way.
  9. The Loons have signed Tomas Brindley on loan, he was with you guys, any good?
  10. Latest on the club’s site is Sam Fisher recalled by Dundee but we have Tomas Brindley on loan from Killie
  11. The Fanzone opens today for the younger supporters, I believe there’s a drum involved.
  12. Big Andy has scored a few goals this season so far and will likely score a few more but he rarely scores with a kick, the vast majority are headers won at corner kicks. That was quite a strike for a centre half, Munro is simply a very enthusiastic player
  13. Three hours between posts and Slippery has gotten drunk, fallen asleep and had a dream that we hammer Annan. I’d take a draw now but obviously hoping for a win, ugly, pretty or lucky.
  14. Stef McCluskey signed an extension to the end of next season, excellent bit of business.
  15. If Travis signs for you guys you’re getting a very high quality centre half who’l be sorely missed at Station Park, I hope he stays with but it’s not looking likely.
  16. I think the Hilson loan was nothing more than a rumour started by someone’s hopeful wishing, don’t get me wrong, I wish it was a real thing but don’t believe it ever was.
  17. Not a great game but the commentary was excellent.
  18. I’m watching, even though I’m a Loon I’m excited for Arbroath (couldn’t be ar5ed travelling to Elgin ) ArbroathTV is very professional looking though pixelated a bit at times
  19. Jesus, what did I just witness in that first half, Christmas spirit alive and well generously gifting four goals. Played a lot of good football in the second half and I truly believe if we’d equalised we would have got a winner too but appeared to take our foot off the gas after the third as Stenny were panicking. The fact that we’re (still) comfortably second while not having strikers of note is heart warming but today needs to be a wake up call. Harkins in his day was a class act, sadly his day is a distant memory, gives the ball away every time he touches it. Doris worked hard when he came on but we still had a mountain to climb.
  20. I think we need to get on with it but suspect the politicians think differently. At the very least I think hospitality will be over but wouldn’t be surprised if we’re back watching on the painfully poor Pixellot cameras that can’t tell the difference between a football, a bald head and paper blowing in the wind.
