Keeper's red card been rescinded after appeal. Scullion available for Saturday -
Where does the Sunday Post get their results from? It's enough for some people to choke on their coffee! Wins for Largs, Burgh, Meadow, almost every results in WOSL are wrong!

How much does it cost to run a B team? 50k to Lowland League (each season or one off?). Cost of hiring a ground, wages, subscription costs. The pathway for a young B team player might appear wasted when they get released and end actually playing at Tier 5 or Tier 6 levels in their 20s. Would a better solution not be to loan their 18 year old best prospects to Tier 5 and Tier 6?

There were no bobbles on Pollok pitch. Indeed, Keanie Park has a lot more bobbles. Tedious Tom was referring to the height of the grass which slowed the ball and affected the bounce. But there's no law against the height of the grass. It's great that fans are talking about football again. Referees and officials have a hard job to do and many don't deserve unwarranted criticism. They do however get some decisions wrong and the keeper sending off changed the game

Last season I recall my visit to DD. Safe standing room only 2 deep either Terracing. No safe viewing behind goals. There is a large hill outside ground that some locals use to view game. Often to negotiate way around ground to tuck shop or Centre toilets meant treading on pitch. I think there is a small wooden enclosure for disabled/directors but certainly not covering for 100 supporters. With the entrance to Centre also on touchline it also limits capacity. Struggling to see a 500 safe capacity.

You won't get me defending the British Army either. But is this thread not about football and discussing how our respective Clubs are faring? Back on track, where do you think Glenafton will finish in the League? -

No that was an embarrassment. But it happened and we move on. I'm not defending whoever it was that put that announcement out, but its in the past. One person doesn't make a Club. The football I've watched has been very entertaining and I look forward to an excellent game with Clydebank in a couple of weeks -

The guy was born in Enniskillen in same year that IRA bombed his town. He was brought up in a divisive atmosphere. But he moved on, married a Catholic, his kids go to a Catholic school and he's in the Johnstone area. He was caught on camera in a nightclub in Ireland uttering something he shouldn't have said after he was tricked by a Celtic fan. That's the story. He's moved on. Some people will never forget the past. Some labels stick. So be it. Let's stick to football -

I agree with much of what you say. But how do we know what the average wage should be? Were players previously being underpaid? What professional doesn't want a minimum of £30 an hour? If you're good at your job then is £300 a week too much? The Lafferty money is vastly overinflated and I don't think anyone knows exactly what it is. But let's not go down that route again. It's been done to death and opens up bigotry which I absolutely detest. -

That's very true Andy. And I understand resentment against Clubs that spend a lot of money compared to the Junior days of old. But I can't see there being a time in the future when a Premier champion Club doesn't spend money on wages. Eventually players will leave for the Clubs offering higher wages.
