  1. No, you know nothing about football.
  2. Man who knows nothing about football /\ Though you're right he was, he went to Brighton to play first team football and was put straight in their development squad. Should have stayed where he was.
  3. No chance he'll be signing for Celtic they couldn't afford him and he's way better than that level. Be patient and Scotland will have a top drawer player before long.
  4. Absolutely, there's no doubt he's a star in the making and, along with Robertson, will be Scotland's best player very soon. Moving to a new country, new language, culture, climate, style of football and even new role in the team was always going to take a long time. Also to a league significantly better than the Scottish Premiership and a team miles better than Celtic. Add to that Sporting have changed manager and are currently leading the table with the chance to win the league for the first time in over a decade he was hardly going to get a look-in this season. He is playing every week for the B team (30 appearances so far this season - only one as substitute) which is competitive football against men, very like our championship in standard. He is also first choice for Scotland under 21's now and Sporting have knocked back several offers to take him on loan. He is progressing fine and much as you'd expect given he was a teenager less than six months ago. Those doubting his progress simply don't know anything about football, one cursory look tells you he is progressing very well. He even is listed as 'both' footed now when you look him up on a site I use to check his progress, previously it was left, so he must be working hard on his bad foot. Zoomers over here with no clue should just shut their mouths and leave him alone for a wee while, we will have a hell of a player on our hands very soon. One thing I would say is if Sporting are going to loan him out at any stage, they'd be mental to send him anywhere but Portugal. He needs to keep adapting to Portugese football, life and most of all the language, so to send him to Brighton or something for a year would be mega-stupid. But they know what they're doing with young players so he will be fine.
  5. Personally have no doubts about Gauld at all, think he is progressing well and have kept a very close eye on him since he went there. As far as possible anyway. The people doubting his move or progress are simply idiots who have no clue what they're talking about. This was always going to take a lot of time. Even if you look at him in pictures the development in his physique is very striking, he looks powerful now whereas he was just a skinny wee kid when he left here.
  6. You'll be able to point out me declaring everyone who drinks alcohol is a drunk then
  7. Exactly, they don't have to kick football games off early incase fans have had too many joints beforehand and cause a riot.
  8. I think you'll find a lot more people are stoners than you'd realise. The ones mentioned like the guy with the sandwich are obviously just tubes regardless of weed. Stoners are obviously sounder than drunks, I can't believe anyone would argue otherwise. But obviously I've offended some #top bois who love a pint so carry on, sorry to derail your thread. Just try not to smash my window or be sick on my car next time you're out please. Actually Sunday night about midnight, standing outside having a joint, peaceful, quiet, minding my own business. Not harming a soul in the world. Walking up the middle of the road a drunk guy singing Celtic rebel songs at the top of his voice. One of us was breaking the law, guess which one. In 100 years people will look back and laugh at how absurd our laws were.
  9. true in some ways but also come with their own problems. Not as bad as alcohol mind, and if that's legal I can't think of a class a that shouldn't be.
  10. I said drunk enough, and everyone does, including you. And me. This doesn't happen when people are stoned, at worst they'll eat all your kitkats and fall asleep.
  11. got to be the most untrue statement in the history of mankind. Go to your local hospital on a Saturday night ask the doctors and nurses what they think. They would love cannabis to replacealcohol Iin society. Go to a police station ask them who causes more bother. People aren't cleaning up sick and fixing broken windows from Stonerseevery week. They're coherent, rational, respectful, conversant etc. Drunks rate off the charts on the arsehole scale Stonersddon't even register.
  12. What I said is 100% true. I drink a little bit too but it's completely for wankers and turns everyone into an arsehole. Its a fanny pursuit, only really good for pursuing fanny.
  13. Drinking is for wankers tbh. There's not a human being alive who doesn't turn into a complete bellend when drunk enough. Amazing this toxin is not only allowed by society but venerated. Most violent crime is a result of alcohol. A more enlightened society would see cannabis replace alcohol.
  14. Purdah is the pre-election period in the United Kingdom, specifically the time between an announced election and the final election results.[1] The time period prevents central and local government from making announcements about any new or controversial government initiatives (such as modernisation initiatives or administrative and legislative changes) which could be seen to be advantageous to any candidates or parties in the forthcoming election. This is what fibbers is arguing against here. Ignoring the manchild for a moment all sane people reading this ask yourself do you think the vow was in breach of This? And his is what fibbers is arguing against. That's incredible dishonesty.
  15. this is what he's like. Also they got Gordon Brown to announce it as he wasn'tprivy to purdah but it as approved by them all and made a material offer which wasn't aloud. Fibbers describes it as a commission on more powers which is disingenuous, a commission could be held and provide no powerst all Iin theory. This was a concrete offer of powers, the commission was simply to iron out the details.
  16. Actually having reread it I misunderstood I take it back. Though obviously the vow was a basic breach of purdah anyway as it made a new offer to the electorate when it was a breach of purdah to do so. One which had been ruled out by bt as part of the Edinburgh agreement negotiations actually.
  17. Ooh not even a little bit wrong fibbers a bigbit. The only way the ggovernment and entirety of better together were able to claim purdah wasn't broken was tomclaim they were acting in their roles as party leadersnot as ministers, as purdah explicitly prevents the pm aand deputy pm etc from doing so. You also give an inaccurate description of purdah which in factchanges for mmostelections as Iis appropriate.
  18. I do remember a slight breach of purdah from 3 days before the referendum actually now you mention it.
  19. Ecco shoes are brilliant but expensive as f**k. There are other cheaper ones just as good, Footjoy, Nike etc.
