The issue being? It was a packed train and this c**t is taking up space and hitting people with a needless baby carrier I was tempted to ask him "are you forgetting something?" just for the #bantz

I often seem to be end up at the toilet at work at the same time as one particular guy, and he likes talking to himself the whole time. Often he seems to be geeing himself up or just reminding himself he's alive "OK come on now Peter" and "OK let's do this Peter" seem to be some of his favourite sayings. Yesterday I learned what he had planned for dinner "emmm what to have tonight, maybe carrots, yup carrots, veggie night for me" He's also one of a few people I've noticed at work who wash their hands before they piss

It's common courtesy on crowded subway trains here for people to take their backpacks off and put them at their feet, there are notices on the train and announcements asking people to do this too. There are plenty of people who don't who are of course c***s, yesterday day the king of the c***s got on my train, wearing on his back on of those backpack/baby carrier deals that middle class couples seem to have. This champ kept it on his back the whole train ride, even though there was no baby in there.

As far as Elite League goes, playoffs weekend is the end of the season. International wise Great Britain play April 22-28 in the World Championship Div 1 (one group below the top division) The NHL playoffs start next month and go on till June

It really isn't a great town, Niagara on the Lake is much nicer. What did you think of Toronto?

People talking about "Paddy's day" Celebrating this day anywhere outside of the island of Ireland is stomach churning enough, but "Paddy's" marks you out as a raging w****r. You never hear anyone talk St Andy's or St Dave's day. Mon the snakes! -

Take "the juniors" seriously -
Edinburgh Capitals continue to limp towards the end of the season, losing 12-1 to Nottingham last night after picking up four players from NIHL 2 side Sheffield Senators. As much as I like the Caps, I hope this is there last season (for now) in the Elite League. Have a few seasons in the SNL and hope that someone who cares starts a team in Edinburgh

Times really are tough at Murrayfield when Robbie Balfour is named in the line up. Still they kept it under 10 at least

Lassie I used to work with just shared a picture of a missing dog. Last seen in Cleveland, Ohio. Will come in useful if it's somehow made it's way to Dalkeith

Lolz. Consider buying a Presto card https://www.prestocard.ca/en/ You can buy them at Pearson Airport and use it to take the train from there to Union Station, you can also use it on all forms of public transit in the area, not just TTC. It can be topped up online and at various machines at subway stations etc

After the news saying there would be significant snow fall it was a poor effort here last night, I went to work wearing trainers.

It snowed heavily here last night and into the early morning, when I went to bed I was dreaming of being told to stay home from work. Woke up in the morning, the roads and pavements had been cleared and salted, and the subway trains were running as normal, gutted. -
This whole situation feels like a parody. Red Alerts, Risk of life etc...

I'm a Dunfermline fan, back in the Pars good old free spending SPL days, before the whole pisky administration thing I saw Queens as my wee team, but now they are very much on the same level I'm not longer a fan -

Probably the same way the woman we saw did it, turned in the wrong road on the roundabout. I believe it was Beattie's and 'The Venue' was above it, or near by. Didn't realise there was one in the Vennel. Is there still that sports shop on the Whitesands? I remember it being a place where you could actually sports equipment rather than just trackies and trainers. Wrong thread for this I know, but I love Dumfries, great wee town! -

I know exactly the area you mean, it's bizarre piece of town planning in that area, you drive along the street below Rosemount, think it's Howgate Street which is one way going in one direction, it then meets Church St up to the Camera Obscura which is a one way street going in the other direction, I may be imaging this but I think years ago Church Street was a two way street, which seems even more bizarre. I remember one day driving out of town along Glasgow Road, there is a big roundabout where it meets Lochfield/Side? Road, there are two lanes of traffic. We were in the left lane, a woman turns off the roundabout into the right lane and drives the wrong way up the street, we drove out and didn't look back. -

My grandmother lives in Dumfries having moved in the late 90s from a farm near Glencaple, can confirm that Dumfries is where I have witnessed the worst drivers in Scotland, and I don't exclude my near grandmother from them, thankfully she doesn't drive anymore. I almost feel a bit teary looking at the picture, remembering the old toy shop that used to be nearby, where I bought my first Subbuteo team. -
Quite often when I go for my afternoon toilet visit, I will find a copy of the Toronto Star (broadsheet newspapers made up of a few sections) lying on the floor of the toilet cubicle. It raises so many questions for me. Who the f**k reads a whole broadsheet newspaper on the bog? How long are they in there for? Why instead of putting it in the bin just outside of the cubicle do they feel the need to leave it on the floor for a cleaner to pick up, after being in your shitey hands?
