I don’t know how you can really argue that the two don’t contradict one other.
Games being shifted to inconvenient times for supporters is a known by-product of games being on telly. The only other slot left realistically was Saturday evening given that the rugby is on the BBC on Sunday afternoon. So there was always going to be one game on a Friday or Monday night.
They also broadcast far more games and don’t share a country with the most watched league in the world
You lose any credibility moaning about a Monday night game if you’re also proposing that more games should be on the telly.
Tbf you constantly see Scottish football fans moaning about not enough games being televised. If you’re one of them you can’t really moan about games being shifted for it.
The pedant in me feels compelled to point out you wouldn’t be playing Elgin if they’d won. You’d be away at Hearts.
For some reason I think I prefer facing you lot than Darvel, possibly just PTSD from playing (former) junior teams from Ayrshire. Still expecting a cagey game.
Don’t think that’s allowed anymore unless the polis say it’s unsafe to play the game in Darvel. And given they hosted Aberdeen without issue it’s unlikely.
There’s some idiot in the replies admitting that Grealish caused the contact but claiming it’s still a penalty because of the contact.
I bet he also comes out with shite like “the attacker was entitled to go down!”
It’s absolutely wild, but not at all surprising, that the SFA are having this draw on their website instead of as part of the Darvel v Falkirk broadcast on national telly tonight.
Dimwits.
Literally anyone: “it would make great sense to have the draw on prime-time TV as part of the Darvel v Falkirk broadcast.”
The SFA: “nah let’s hide it on our website at tea-time lol.”
