  1. We still wouldn’t be the most franchise-y club in the league.
  2. That’s the only “good” thing to come from another team applying. It will show up this absolute farce even more when the LL have to “decide” which 2 teams are getting in.
  3. There isn’t a clock or screen at lower league grounds though, or even most first tier grounds in Scotland. I don’t know how it all works but would you need to link that up to the referee’s watch as well? How does that work at a lower league ground? Time-wasting and the drama that comes with it is part of the game, and it’s up to the referee to add time on and dish out bookings as needed. If FIFA wants to clamp down on it then tell the refs they need to be stricter on it. This and recent rule changes - e.g. VAR and amending the laws of the game to suit VAR despite 99% of games not using VAR - show that the focus is purely on the big leagues. FIFA/IFAB are determined to sanitise the game and reduce the impact of chance/luck as much as possible. As well as it being easier for them to implement, changes like this chiefly benefit the bigger and better teams. It isn’t a surprise when the people making these decisions only ever attend a game of football to sit in an executive box.
  4. Good for them. What’s it supposed to prove? Most of the Rangers team that cruised past Dortmund 2 rounds ago didn’t play for B teams. Top tier players such as Kevin de Bruyne and Harry Kane have never played for B teams. See, I can pull facts out of my arse as well.
  5. Better understanding of how “calorific” different meals/foodstuffs are can only be a good thing. The average person’s awareness of it all is generally awful.
  6. “Man who has saved ordinary people millions of pounds with free advice is a certified w**k because his political compass results aren’t exactly the same as mine.” The internet really turns people mental.
  7. I thought the idea was that the clock would be stopped while the keeper is delaying taking a goal kick, as the ball isn’t in play. Still not a fan. Will be murder keeping track of how long is left at an Ayr game for example. Another change that’s aimed at the telly audiences.
  8. We didn’t win any of our last 7 last season. We managed to draw our way to safety thanks to Morton being even worse. Draws won’t be enough the way Dunfermline are picking up points. We need a win from somewhere and to not lose at East End.
  9. I’m sure we’ll manage to pick up the 3 points at Palmerston assuming they’ve nothing to play for any more.
  10. There is zero chance we’re taking anything from a crunch game at East End.
  11. Tonight would be a good time for Zanatta to pay back being shitebag last season.
  12. I’d put Muirhead or Fjortoft there for the rest of the season and I don’t say it lightly.
  13. Uwot? It’s 59 v 49 in Killie’s favour. It isn’t a question what the bigger derby is. I’d have thought any sensible Fifer’s arguing against that would see that they were in agreement with “Raith_Raver” and quickly abandon ship.
  14. 3 of them I would say are pretty much irreplaceable for us right now - Gordon, Tierney and McGinn. If any one of them drops out the side is far weaker. I don’t think I’d have played McGinn and Tierney for the full 180 myself but it’s easy to see why it happened.
  15. There is next to no chance of the SPFL doing anything here. The head honchos there love the idea of colts teams as much as the diddies in the Lowland League. The only ones standing up to this will be the tier 6 clubs, and they’ll be roundly ignored. The pyramid is a mess already.
  16. It’s weird looking back at how piss-easy that group was. Absolutely no chance you’d get something like that now.
  17. It’s The Sun, hyping it up will generate more clicks than simply reporting “seeing a specialist tomorrow”.
  18. If they’d hung on on Friday night they’d have an outside chance. Very hard to see it now.
  19. Seeing it broken down like that it hits home how much utter shite will be making it to the World Cup when they inevitably change it to 64 teams. 32 was fine. 48 would probably be just about alright but the format is so bad it will never last.
  20. That last sentence is a very bold statement. We took 2 points from the 4 games Levein was in charge of. It’s nigh on inconceivable he would have gotten 6 points from Croatia and we were only a point clear of Wales in 5th place.
  21. What’s incomparable about it exactly? Have you reached that conclusion using the Granny Danger calculator?
  22. Between that and tickets not being sent out for the derby I wonder if there’s plans to change supplier. Can’t imagine the likes of Mathie will be pleased with it.
