Some managers come in and keep boys on because they're good around the club. They're local. Fair play to Cammy, he's bled the club of wages for over ten years whilst being pretty sub standard at every perceivable level.

Am I jealous it wasn't me? Absolutely.

Am I at all bothered he is being let go? Not at all. From a purely ability level, it's long overdue.

“Bled” is not an adjective I’d choose to describe his contracts over the years.  I think he did give a lot back to the club over and above whatever ability you assess he had on the park.

When taking into account the hours of unpaid work he did for the club I doubt he’d be on a particularly great hourly rate in comparison to many other players (that have failed spectacularly) our managers have signed over the last 10 years.

  2. Rudden has been told he is surplus to requirements, yet made a number of starts over Robinson.  Was starting with Rudden simply  a reflection of Robinson recovering from injury, Doc not liking what he sees in training or Doc simply looking for a different style of player to double with Bakayoko?

Regarding Kerr, he’s been a fantastic servant to the club and deserves great credit for his continuous positive attitude.  I think that moving Kerr on is another clear signal that Doc knows exactly the sort of players he wants to bring in.

As much as Kerr loves the club I think a move away at this stage of his career would be beneficial for him as well as the club.

After his first remarkable interview, I assumed he was looking for a reaction from the players.

After today's interview, I just think he's a massive bell end.

If you're a club Director watching today's interview - after that result - you pretty much want him in for a meeting pronto.

He's also pretty much admitted that he isn't able to get a tune out of decent players.

    Cathroesque.

I think most County fans knew what they were getting and aren’t that fussed about his post match tantrums. For some reasons other fans get a bit upset about it.

@Staggie52 I assume you are still comfortable with his post match comments?

What's happened to those Mexican boys that Dundee signed in the summer? Turned out to be diddies?

    Both injured I believe.

Portales was proving to be a very good player.

Sagiv Jehezkel who plays for Antalyaspor in Turkey was detained and thereafter released pending trial after he held up his bandaged hand with the words “100 days. 7/10” written on the bandage during a goal celebration.

Turkey’s minister said an investigation has been launched due to the players “ugly action supporting Israel’s massacre in Gazza”

Dundee FC whose crowning achievement over the last 45 years is to finish at the dizzy heights of 5th it the table. Who can forget the absolute delirium at Pittodrie among the fans and Bonetti running on the pitch as Dundee secured the great achievement of getting in to the top 6. The delirium was short lived as they went to administration not once but twice. Now they are boasting about just being the top league for 7 out of the last 10 seasons.  At least I have the lived memories of seeing my club win the league, The Scottish Cup , League Cup and play in a European Final.  I cant begin to imagine what it must feel like for having a number of seasons in the top flight as the only thing to cling to.

Apologies if my comment about United spending as many seasons in the Championship as the Premiership over the last decade has upset you.  In fairness to yourself I am only assuming it has upset you judging by the tone and content of your reply.

Again, apologies if my comment did not upset you and that’s simply the usual way you respond.

Aye cos your record of just the four seasons down is so much better

It’s actually only three times in the last decade - I’ve started backwards from this season for both clubs.

Nevertheless, whether that makes it so much better is open to interpretation.

    - Apologies to any Inverness fans still on this thread having to read this discussion.

From what I witnessed last night and the last few months, said 33 year old walks into that team.

Granted you were missing some regulars last night I believe ?

Wotherspoon will be a brilliant addition to Utd, I would expect.

For the avoidance of doubt, I don’t support the club from Dundee that over the last decade has spent as many seasons in the Championship as they have in the Premiership.  I support the club from Dundee that is in the Premiership.

Scot Gardiner is an absolutely irredeemable arsehole, so it's good to learn that he's yet again proved it.  An utter turd of a man.

On a separate note, were any United fans perturbed to hear Tony Watt say how pleased he was to have a week off now?

There was a time when Dundee United didn't welcome being eliminated from the Scottish Cup in November.

There was a time when United wouldn’t be interested in a 33 year old player that St Johnstone didn’t think was worth offering a new contract to.   As it is United fans appear delighted with their signing of Wotherspoon.

Hopefully 'Nelmsey' has learned his lesson, and we don't get shafted yet again, everybody would like to see Luke  progress and treble/quadruple his wages, but he's on long contract, so 250k is a nonsense. IMO.

    Thank you.

Exactly this.  If you’re known as a club that folds quickly when the bidding for a player starts you’re always going to get low offers.  Time to stand firm and leave them in no doubt only big / silly money would secure a sale.

McCowan has been outstanding this season.  I don’t think it’s any coincidence that he has finally found consistency the season Doc arrives as manager.

Actually stunned that any United fan could even attempt to claim Kevin Holt was fouled here. It's just bombscare defending, him trying to grab Oakley and then falling on his arse.

Fucking hell DABs. Embarrassing to try and claim that as a foul if you did.

Surely nobody is claiming it is a foul on Holt.  Even Holt doesn’t claim for a foul.  If anything Holt has a wild swipe at Oakley.

I always thought a major weakness in Holt’s game was he didn’t like it when things got physical.

Am I being a fanny, for my Christmas my mum got me a big winter jacket, which is great cozy as anything, but…. The colour of I is burnt orange, wearing it to her house obviously so she sees me wearing it… like I say am I being a fanny or is it just a cozy jacket just wear the bloody thing

As long as it doesn’t look like a Hi-Vis jacket nobody will think it’s tangerine coloured so you should be ok.

The fact all other Scottish games went ahead makes it even more ridiculous that a premiership team can’t maintain a playable playing surface.

You’ve posted a grand total of two posts - both dedicated to Dundee FC.  Your obsession with Dundee is strong.
