Good to see Ross signing an extension even if it is just a year before going to Morton. Would have been a risk otherwise. Can't see us getting Cadden if that's real. Unless he's out of contract I'd reckon Motherwell would ask for a fair bit for him.

Wonder if Alex Rae's opinion that Caixinha's foreign signings could be a disaster was something he expressed at the time.

Real shame what happened with him. Showed genuine promise when he first came into the team but never really got near that performance level again.

For me Empire Star Wars Force Awakens Return of the Jedi Last Jedi Rogue One Revenge of the Sith Phantom Menace Attack of the Clones Agree with the point above that Last Jedi may rise after get a chance to watch it again. Out of all these I would say Clones is the only one I don't think is a good movie. Even Phantom Menace has a lot of parts I like. Clones is the only one I really struggle to rewatch.

Had a work colleague who used to work forAberdeen Council and he often remarked how difficult it was to get support and planning permission for anything from the council. Probably part of the reason why I'm more pro the new stadium than others as I got the impression that Aberdeen would struggle to get anything done in the city itself if they have to rely on ACC.

I mean sure, ideally it would but I think it's not much of an issue (team name pedantry wise) when it's only moving to the outskirts of the city to somewhere that will likely be considered a suburb of the city in about 20 years or so as the city expands. Not like they're relocating to Elgin or something.

Well I was trying to be light hearted but it's a pedantic point that doesn't really mean anything. Doesn't really matter what's on their badge, the club's name isn't Hibernian Edinburgh.

If we're going to this level of pedantry I'm hoping you can see the irony of someone who supports a Scottish based team called Hibernian making this point.

Yeah I didn't necessarily think Tansey would be as good as Jack but I thought he would be fairly close to his standard while offering something a bit different to what we had. Has been a massive let down so far. Hope there's at least a couple of players planned to come in at centre mid.

Sorry I was more meaning the other younger guys for that. Threw Lindsay's name in as previously mentioned in thread and i guess it's more that previous managers showed unwillingness to play anyone other than the same old experienced names at centre half. Could see them playing a Greer type ahead of someone coming through with less experience. Hopefully the new manager changes that.

Wouldn't imagine the likes of Lindsay, Souttar or McKenna are ready for the step up but at least there's a few with some promise now. Didn't seem too long ago there wasn't even that.

Well your experience of going to games there is certainly better than mine but i really couldnt see Gauld not getting a regular start for Partick if he played for them and they are truly comparable. Also would be surprised if Portugese sides were pumped out of Europe regularly by some of the diddy sides that knock out Scottish teams.

Last few days accessing the site on chrome via my phone most times when I check notifications it goes immediately to either a "Facebook satisfaction survey" which I'm assuming is spam and I have to close the tab or it takes me to the Google store to get me to install an app (Coral, Some Print services thing?). Havent really found it either to be honest. The episodes so far take place over a fairly short period of time and jumps between different groups on a per episode basis for the most part. Theres been a few flashback bits too but havent found it particularly confusing.

Yeesh that was pretty bad. The lack of understanding of Stewart's point about the extra potential money to be made at Murrayfield was staggering. The stuff about attendances was pretty dumb but at least it was to be expected.

Just listened to it now and it's hard to imagine if he could be any more non-commital about it. Basically admitted he doesn't follow Scottish football any more and didn't know anything about McInnes as a manager but that was apparently enough for the media to post another ringing endorsement article.
