  1. First game back at the top of Scottish football you say?
  2. Tomorrow mate, knew there was three signings just didn't know the order of it tbf
  3. Celtic - Cruise to it as usual Rangers - Improved but still far off it Hibs - Continue their strong 2018 form Aberdeen - Fall to bits despite a strong start to the season Motherwell - Improve on the Cup Finals and consolidate a strong league finish St Johnstone - A few decent signings with a decent manager Kilmarnock - Will struggle to replicate last seasons one off Livingston - Surprise a few with a physical style of play and a few good signings Hearts - Any team signing three keepers seriously needs looked at Dundee - Shite manager and shite city. We'll do them the same way we did United. Hamilton - to keep Dundee United down yet again as Csaba is finally sacked with another meltdown St Mirren - Stubbs gone by Xmas and Goodwin to take over and take St Mirren down, struggling to cope with the loss of Ross and Morgan
  4. We've signed Lawless with the Morton winger expected to be confirmed tomorrow
  5. Kelly Crane Gallagher Halkett Lithgow Lamie Pittman Sibbald Byrne Hardie L.Miller I'd say that would be our strongest starting XI if we were to include those three, with both Millers swapping in and out. The new signings will definitely change that up though and it looks like we're trying to play the game wide with wingers so having wing backs doesn't really work unless they're overlapping as a LB/RB which can't really be fit into a 5 back without losing our strong presence in the middle of the park with Pittman/Byrne/Sibbs. For what it's worth I'd say our strongest XI is going to be in a 433. Kelly Crane/(New Signing?) Halkett Gallagher Lamie Byrne Pittman Sibbald (New Signing LW) De Vita (RW) Hardie Without those that are injured I'd say we'll see Kenny and Lee both partner each other but have other players fill in the gaps. I can see guys like Lithgow and Cadden being pushed out a bit due to not really being that good for this level
  6. Nowhere near it, Lithgow was brilliant but always has been the weakest of a strong back three.
  7. We need a RB if we're playing 4 at the back. On the Lithgow topic, it's ridiculous to say he's better than Gallagher when he's definitely not. Lamie has came in and is miles better, not convinced by Saunders though seems as though Lithgow may be better. Lithgow won't take Crane, Lamie, Halkett or Gallagher out the team so will be useful for cover. It's a shame to say it but it'll be the same for Cadden who probably isn't good enough. If we want to stay up then we need to be ruthless with who we keep and let go. We can't be sentimental no matter how vital those players were in the past.
  8. That's true, however he's been in contact with Martindale who apparently told him that if he ever wants to come back all he has to do is pick up the phone He has a year and a half on his deal and you wouldn't be due any compensation either afaik due to a clause in the current deal. Wouldn't help that he has a manager that tells him not to go past the halfway line though mind you
  9. Same James Penrice who isn't settled at the club and was told he apparently won't be first choice for the upcoming season?
  10. Two Patrick Roberts and Trent Alexander Arnold, got it cheers #leak
  11. So a few new signings incoming before the Celtic game - any ideas?
  12. We've signed Carlo Pignatiello (I think), scored for our reserve side today, any ideas on him?
  13. Seems like we've signed Carlo Pignatiello for the Colts team, ex-Rangers and St Mirren. He's 18 - he scored in today's reserve game with Whitburn (1-1)
  14. His mum gave us one of the best heads gone moments in P&B Livi history
  15. Brilliant character and genuinely funny guy too - good to see him doing well
