  1. Meeting our board on Monday/Tuesday to discuss things too - apparently an answer will be known by latest Wednesday, possibly tomorrow on whether he stays or goes
  2. In all honesty though, always felt he was a weak link in the St Mirren team - surprised you guys felt the opposite
  3. From what I can remember Samson chucked them in against us the mistake in the 4-1 game was crazy and he managed to let Dale Carrick score of all people in the first half of the season
  4. Where's that O'Conner blowing out his arse picture? Alexander easily the best keeper there last season, would've been phenomenal for you guys - probably one the reason we managed to steal so many points during the season
  5. To be honest, always looked a good player against us and can finish given the chance. I wouldn't judge anyone based on their appearances in a United shirt last season. Mikkelson was tall and pretty strong too. If he had played in our side he would have comfortably scored quite a few goals, was one player I was happy to see on the bench against us and knew he could do something when he came off it
  6. I really don't see why people don't like you Rodger. Stand up knowledgeable guy, us 'small club diddies' have to stick together
  7. Same would inevitably go for Lambert, who was also serially shite with us
  8. He was shite with us as well, stormed away to Hartlepool at first chance.
  9. Ok, this is where we can confirm you're talking shite and stop listening to you. You're twisting facts to suit your argument - 700k debt, yes. You're however neglecting the fact that this time last year the debt was 1.5m. So within a year we have halved our debt? No need for us to worry whatsoever, no doubt that come this time next year we will be relegated with the debt under 250k
  10. Would be an absolutely shocking lack of ambition if he does go though - let's be serious
  11. Hopkin meeting our board now on Monday/Tuesday so possibly not until next Wed
  12. Would be struggling to say it's a step up. If he's going it's just moving sideways. It's a move down and a weird lack of ambition if he does go though
  13. I didn't think so yesterday but spoke to a few people today and heard about the deal Hopkin has been offered, big wage with a substantial budget. I know Hopkin isn't after a big wage but it's a sweetener to go back to the club he's the 4th biggest shareholder in. He met with our board on Tuesday and meeting again on Monday/Tuesday. As far as I'm aware however we have already drawn up an early list of candidates to replace him if he does go
  14. Looks like Hopkin is away so more chance of both going to Morton
  15. Anyone know if Rangers offered Jordan Thompson a contract or straight up released him? If he's been released Rangers wouldn't be due compensation I'm sure - same goes for Hardie but heard nothing about him so far
  16. http://livingstonfc.co.uk/rafa-pitts-staying-put/ Also still hearing Penrice has been released via relegation clause
  17. I'm sure you would've said that about us. Never underestimate United's ability to just be undoubtedly shite
  18. Was bound to fail at Hearts from the start, he was fairly naïve at the time but wouldn't be against giving him a shot - albeit it is a very weirdly outlandish thought. Knowing us we'll end up taking on Duffy
  19. He's been odds on for three weeks almost, it's nothing new. No announcement now until Friday at earliest, I don't think we actually have that much to worry about to be honest but if he does go I would like to see us go for another young and hungry manager, someone like Cathro might be a shout if we could get him. Surely would've learned for his time at Hearts and would be last chance saloon in management for him. Even Lovell came across as very knowledgeable in the playoff games as a pundit - if he's done his badges I wouldn't be averse to seeing someone like him take over given his background. Would also not be against giving it to Alexander if he has done his badges, another great pro with a great career who seems to know the game well. No point in getting caught up in speculation now though - I'm fairly certain Hopkin is the man to take us forward and will do so for at least another season
  20. Definitely We're expected to make an announcement today or tomorrow
  21. Think too many people got caught up on the contract situation to be honest. Hopkin himself said he'll only ever sign a one year deal in management as too many people get 'large payoffs for failure'. He only wants to talk about a new deal once the season is over - it was the same last year when we won the league. He's fairly well off so doesn't actually need to chase a big wage which plays into our hands a bit. I think he'll want to take a shot at the Premiership with us and then move on down south and try go to the top after next season.
  22. He's met with our board and talks we're exceedingly positive. Looks set to sign a new deal with us in the coming days after rejecting Carlisle - dream on
