Was flicking through Halkett's wiki checking how many appearances he's made for us and found this gem. "In January 2016, Halkett was released by Rangers and joined then Scottish Championship side Livingston.[5] He scored his first professional goal against Rangers in a 1–0 win for Livingston on 26 April 2016." You have to love it Sweet justice. Here's hoping he signs up for another season so that we can somehow keep dreaming he'll be here forever

Even when he wasn't that good, he always has time for the fans - first to go clap them and always in celebrating with the fans. If he takes to Queens like he took to us he'll be a fan favourite for his attitude alone. I absolutely love the boy for the way he was for us, even if he wasn't the most skilled player. He's 100% a utility player and makes good use of what he has

Todorov, you guys will fall in love with him. Genuinely such a model professional and will do anything that's asked of him, run around daft and make himself annoying to the opposition. I don't think it's a player that will come back to haunt us though, we let him go because he wasn't good enough for us/wouldn't make the bench really. He'll get himself booked for roughing defences up and won't score many goals but he's good for finding space and drawing defenders at corners etc. Will be good at holding the ball up for Dobbie and co. I'm sure.

Ryan Hardie scored on his full debut for us at the weekend, looks like an absolute baller. Hoping we sign him in the summer when he's a free agent tbh

Best of luck to him but can you understand that he's barely played for the club despite collecting half a seasons wage? I get that the injury is no fault of his own but the club is a business and as such has to be run that way, you'd be lucky to find a job that wouldn't be looking elsewhere had you been off for six months sick. I was disappointed he was let go, obviously wasn't given the chance due to injuries but he looked a cracking player every time I'd seen him and think we've really lost out on a good prospect but he's got a great chance to go build on his career at Airdrie where he'll feature more regularly than if he was here. It's probably been a better break for both the club and him that it went this way, bad treatment or not

It's mainly down to Hopkin being smart and knowing the right players to bring in. We've got a new owner in who's keeping us run tight to a budget, so the guy above is wrong. We had a good run in the cup last year. After all the incomings and outgoings this window we're set to shave 1k off our monthly budget at the end of the window. We have a steady attendance of over 1,000 which isn't much but it's a little bit of stability. We've got players like Mackin on £250 a week with a £5 goal bonus Hopkin's mentality seems to be picking up players who are on their way up in their career, guys who will go onto bigger things. The club is run on a small full time scale with some players being given part time wages, one of the biggest reasons we can do this is that the majority of our squad have came from League1/2. Pittman came from the juniors, Byrne came from Dunfermline's League One winning team, Mullin came from Albion Rovers, Robinson from East Fife, Lithgow and Cadden came from Airdrie. Not to mention we've been making use of the loan system to pick up players with something to prove. The rest we picked up on free contracts, re: Alexander, Halkett, De Vita, Gallagher. The ones that came from the leagues below were almost always free contracts and I don't remember the last time we paid a fee but we have a manager who looks at opposition players when we play them and identifies who he wants. He said that he's been after Hardie for two years now consistently trying to get him through the door. The majority of the players who come to us are doing so to use us as a stepping stone and take a lesser wage to do so.

Really strong. Decent cover and if we hold on to the guys we have now, we should be looking good to challenge the playoffs. It relies on Hardie hitting the ground running

Will be interesting to see how our next line up looks. Byrne and Longridge are suspended for the league so will be nice to see some rotation and possibly Thompson in the middle?

More than happy if he chips in with 3 or 4 goals until the end of the season. Absolutely chuffed a player of his standing will likely end up a coach for us which is what he wanted at Falkirk. He has a lot to pass on and will do well working with Hartson
