I can understand keeping Smith considering the situation we ended up in last year but surely he should be sitting on the bench while Lennox gets a few games in. Especially as Lennox has looked like he would be a good player to have next season while Smith is at the opposite end of his playing days.

Injured I think/hope. Started badly and went downhill from there, hasn't been entirely awful but not even close to a stand in for Callachan never mind permanent replacement.

Looked decent in his first 5 minutes on the pitch but has since resorted to falling over a lot. Considering how few justified penalties we get he should probably rethink that strategy. Or better still sod off altogether.

Admittedly a lot of Rovers fans reckoned he'd be a good shout short term last season so from the outside looking in it probably looks like our disaster was too far gone to turn around without new faces. With hindsight we're probably lucky he didn't get any of the transfer window to play with.

I just remember near freezing to death, gayfield is one cold place in the winter.

I wasn't sure when I first seen him, gave him the benefit of the doubt since he hadn't played or trained much with the squad but by the Albion Rovers game he looked utterly lost and it got even worse when he had the ball.

Are we sure Herron is a football player or is he a ringer along the lines of 'George Weah's cousin'? I'm developing an irrational dislike of him even when he's not involved in the same way a few fans had for Callachan. Shudder to think at the money we wasted on him and Smith.

Last year signs of the collapse had started before the clocks changed, the second half of the Dumbarton game and Queen o the South away were miserable. Even so feeling optimistic about our chances is an odd thing for me. I'm not getting carried away until it's mathematically impossible to throw it away

The stick Callachan been taking lately has been reminding me of an old guy that used to stand where the keytech stand is now and yell abuse at Coyle, even when he wasn't on the pitch.

No half, 20 years ago it was still Oscars. Seriously though it really is a different place out there though, free time is harder to come by these days and the convenience of TV football with 'big' names has stolen a lot of the potential crowd.

I've got 7 kids already, had all of them at various games over the years but so far only 2 are still going regularly. Number 1 was put off by her first game being during the anelka farce. Number 2 was far to hyper to hold to a seat and now doesn't want to go, 3 is too cool to watch football or something like that 4&6 come along occasionally after last year bored them away 5&7 are season ticket holders but it's a struggle to keep them interested. 2 out of 7 is a fairly poor return I reckon and to make things worse I've got to keep the defective ones too
