McManus ran around with zero service for months, not counting the games when he was just terrible and Skacel continuously getting a start despite having the pace of an asthmatic donkey. That free kick at Hibs was rotten and that was the last we saw of him but every one of Locke's mates was forgiven much worse than that. Something more to the situation than 'couldn't get back into the squad.'

Aye there's definitely a player in there when the right McManus turns up. I think he'd probably be a luxury depending on who we actually keep but the guy on the pitch at easter road and the first tannadice visit would be welcome back any day.

Our season if one sentence, think I've found my signature.

If we've been daft enough to literally release everybody I'll be posting my season ticket back. 1 ticket at a time addressed to Drysdale Even Ayr managed to get ahead of that st mirren though. To be fair he's not wrong. We've managed to upset a par by getting relegated, life's not all bad.

Would sum up this season really. I still remember the days when the sub goalie was whoever fancied it from the 2 subs we were allowed on the bench.

Heard a rumour yesterday from a mate that Penksa had packed up and left where he was staying, the source can be about as reliable as a 1985 Lada but still just enough to get me worried. Who needs a backup keeper in times like these...........oh.

As you can see St Mirren's disastrous start to this season has left the emotionally lightweight modern day players unable to function at all and they'll never get it together in time to get off the bottom of the table never mind score 5 goals in a single game....................oh

Johnston looks like a player but fills every cliché you can imagine. Couldn't cross the road, pass wind/water etc, blow over in a light breeze. But I haven't managed to hate him yet. Davo on the other hand done a nice job filling in for Thomson this year, probably better than Thomson was himself. Utterly miserable to watch in midfield these days though. My scapegoat is Jordan Thompson another rangers wannabe who ruins every good thing he does with utter stupidity in his next move and still gets a regular start. Surely a man short would have better than him today

That's a positive (ish) post for you and true as well. The current squad should be enough to keep us up though, there's still a slight chance that football might start to happen on the pitch, Locke didn't ruin us overnight it can't be fixed in a couple of games either, hopefully sooner than later though.

Got to be more fun than falling out with nobody (according to the board) and taking us on a record breaking winless run.

Given the shambles of this season the exciting news for today will probably be that Anelka's got another obscure relative with a spare £20 to invest.
