  1. Honestly beginning to think C is for chocolate not Craig. I was gutted when he didn't stay with us, less so after reading this. Hope it's nothing but he has to be the unluckiest player in history if he manages 4 seasons in a row laid up until the new year.
  2. Going out on a limb there risking that many cones I reckon
  3. The banter on here has become embarrassing wee team behaviour beyond the pars wildest dreams. I'm out
  4. I would hazard a guess that the 'bigger picture' involves getting out of this league, which to my mind involves keeping players who are likely to do that job. Who would be a replacement for the development pittance we're likely to get? What's a few quid in the bank compared to the prize money/gate receipts from a playing a league higher.
  5. Having been a part time fan for a few years only returning to regular games just after Vaughn's injury can you tell me what other injuries prior to the big one he had to make you think he'll be limping out of Starks.
  6. I think this might be the first post I have ever voted down, anywhere. Lost for words on how useless this post actually is. If he's as good as worthless (like you suggest) nobody will pay anything worthwhile so we might as well keep him to push for promotion, however even if he's as good as premier teams may or may not think he is the end result is that nobody pays decent money for anyone anymore (not even rangers as the bates fiasco proved) so again we might as well keep what we have and push for promotion. I figure that one day he'll end up offside in his own penalty box.
  7. We've not signed many but one thing we've got this year is a manger with a clue about football from off the pitch. In the end Locke's idea of attacking football was shove 7 up front and see what happens. Usually nothing. Can't remember coming away from a defeat last season as positive as I did from the Dundee game, to be honest it was rarely a positive feeling even after watching us squeeze a win.
  8. That's him, he was threatening to support cowdenbeath if we went plastic on Facebook somewhere. Didn't know what his background was but he's definitely trained in professional complaining.
  9. The guy's a professional troll. He had a go at everything we done last year, even the few and far between good bits, he had a go at the pride parade last week and he spent weeks giving stick to the forth bridge while its was under repair saying it would never reopen to traffic, I often wonder how that one worked out And those are just the ones I've spotted, he's more miserable than AU. Plastic pitch isn't ideal but if it'll save/make money for us great and ifnit stops us having to play on a rutted field by March the all the better, our grass doesn't last like it used to.
  10. True but then the parading of the new strips would've been on the pitch...........actually that would probably have looked pretty good.
  11. To be honest I reckon it would have been a bit of a squeeze in the Raith suite, society was a nice change of scenery. Better than the car park/car boot feel we had last year.
  12. I used to think that way and then we encountered Locke who brought with him many ex hearts Neeburs plus Jordan Thompson Scott Roberts David? Syme.
  13. Not sure but those terms would surely become more agreeable when it's looking like nobody else wants you.
  14. Anybody got the gif for the monster goal against the pars handy, injuries plus those 2 moments are everything you need to know about Stewart. The season under McKinnon he seemed to take a few games to get back into it after every injury lay off but when he's good he's amazing, when he's bad he's hilarious just as long as he isn't wearing your team's colours.
  15. I really enjoyed that day can't quite out my finger on why though
  16. He might not have been wasting his time beforehand but he definitely is now
  17. You're right I'm not a high flying CEO but while you might have a while to spend around here after a morning cry-wanking in front of a laptop but I've got a family and a full time job so while I can see the rest of the forum too I can't be arsed chasing former players around not once did I pop over to the Utd thread to wave at Toshney when promotion failed.
  18. This is true dedication for a fan, I rarely have time to venture outside my own club's thread, let alone stalk new clubs of former players that I didn't rate when they were there. To actually follow them to another division over a year is properly mental.
  19. Davo made a fine right back, steady if not outstanding cover. Stewart B.Barr even the half arsed player that showed up for Hughes should do a job, the Barr that started last season would look like a superstar. C.Barr call me daft but surely he can manage to stay fit this time, him and Bene were always a decent pairing. Thomson meh, looked done for most of last season but what else is out there that's better, affordable and willing to play down here. Couldn't really have hoped for much better, vaguely optimistic just now but then again I said that last year although shortly after I'd said it we appointed Locke.
  20. Can you imagine the damage he could do down here with even half decent service
  21. You'd be seething too if Locke was your manager. So many teams, so little success
  22. Thomson should be on a shaky peg too, McKinnon season he was decent but last year he was utterly outclassed by Davo's handful of games out there while he was out injured, anybody who can be outclassed by a near finished out of position Davidson is probably not good enough. As for McHattie I can't help thinking he might be decent down here but then I remember all the times he was utter mince last year.
  23. I remember that. Some of it lasted as far into the season as the first united game.
