How many thousand are you bringing through to Airdrie

I will through in a curve ball, is our goalkeeping situation good enough, Currie decent with young lad Cantley not a threat to the no 1 jersey, do we need more competition in that area, Over at alloa, Ferguson has binned Neil Parry to number 3 keeper at best and replaced him with good old David Hutton...... Parry has been a top lower league keeper for many years and has unfinished business, should we look to strengthen this area..

Once we went 2 nil up, it had the feeling of a 4 mil canter or hanging on for a draw, well we know what happened.. Maybe it was inevitable with all the ex players and coaches on show, we lack a true leader and organiser at the back, Fordyce doesn't really f it that role, hopefully Kerr can step up when he is fully fit.. I still think we have a squad that can win this league, 34 games to go

I still have the seethe, typing this, half nine on a pissing wet Saturday night,,, lower league Football you have to love it, last season this game would have fizzled out to a 2 or 3 goal Airdrie win, even although it was only 600 circa, that is what supporters bring to the game, , they create atmosphere which in turn leads to frustration, heads gone situations....and middle aged men losing their shit on a Saturday night.... Good player Kyle, did ourselves a turn last season, scores goals and quite physical ., Don't see any reason for him to struggle at methil. Little bit disappointed we didn't get him, we will just have to make do i suppose.....

Personally don't think we will struggle to score goals throughout the season, we have plenty Easton, Gallagher, Allan, McGill, Salim and Smith , is there a more talented forward line in the league.....

If Callum Smith does sign, I hope he does, no one can criticise the board for not providing funds for new players to get out this league, credit where credit is due...

After that Crighton was a great leader on and off the park (during cov id he was always there for the young lads who were struggling) , .Murray is trying to play a different way, it takes time, Kerr has fantastic potential and at the moment he is paying for coming back from his double hernia too early at the crazy end of last season, once he starts to train regularly and the niggling injuries are sorted, he will be fine, I am more worried about Fordyce if truth be told, he at the moment is droppable, is the skippers armband affecting his performances.... Ally Roy he had his day in the sun last weekend, he is still a heartless dud, who showed little or no effort to drag himself off the bench when fit, Let's park this for 6 weeks and see where we are, could be interesting....

Right where do I start, firstly great to see old fitba friends on a saturday again.... Onto the game and really from the first whistle you could sense a poor performance was coming was wardrop i njured, why was s McGill playing when Dylan was fit... The main issue was the defence or lack of, a deep lying back 3 with the2 fullbacks playing as wingers, we missed Wardrop , MacDonald was poor as was Rico, is it a setupproblem or a player attitude issue, the back 3 were shambolic , Fordyce has struggled all season, he is a good defender but he is being asked to thread passes into strikers and down the channels constantly and is doing 2 jobs due to rico reluctance to defend the basics, that has never been his strength and never will be. A back 3 must be on the front foot at all times, Kerr especially lacked aggression and was stepping back,lack of fitness, confidence ?.. Agnew have his legs gone...... Possibly if so we are in trouble, McCabe isno world beater but he will give you the ball and recycle it all game,,,, One bright spot was Dylan Easton finally getting on the pitch. , he has quality, and quite possibly be might have to strap this team on his dodgy back and drag us into contention..... I am not really into the boom or bust stuff, I will leave that to the Facebook page, I still think it is fixable with setup changes and a bit of ticker..... Time to stop managing players through training whatever that means , we know these players can play, time to show it...

Was checking other teams as well, I think Dumbarton and Queens Park have still to show their admission prices for the season, I would expect ourselves and Falkirk to be the highest, although Queens Park charged £ 17 for the game last week when we're charging £12......... I think the days of the club giving in to the 'Haun oot' brigade are thankfully over.. The club are trying to maximise As much revenue As possible. New initiatives. Rhys McCabe what was the general impression of him at Queens, he seems a calm head , simp!e possession type player which are bizarrely hard to find these days.... You seem to have upgraded him with Harry Cochrane though....

Surprised that East Fife released his registration to play for Airdrie as well as Assistant manager..... especially as he was under contract, it seems a little bit of being glad to get shot of a wage scenario...... With Wallace seemingly trying the same move, I would think East Fife would have to take a stand u unless there is problems behind the scenes, I hope not. Good club etc ...

Agree, if anything I would hope and expect Pyott when fit to be loaned out to see if he is any good, hardly played in 2_seasons..... In my opinion we have a strike force who could get 30 goals between them and Easton who could get double figures, time for them to step up ... Murray's teams are easy to play against when we go a goal down, teams sit deep and hit on the counter against a spread out 3 man defence as yesterday showed in the second half, we have still to play our strongest team, the back 3 and 2 full backs pick themselves, the 2 full backs are the problem, Rico plays very high normally which forces the defence to shift across, which leaves Wardrop open with plenty space to attack him, If Rico shows a bit more awareness and plays 10 yards deeper then it should sort itself out... The position I still think we need is a right winger not necessarily a starter an option off the bench (Scally trialist ex forfar) would be ideal for this position..

The home top is not too bad but mixed with black shorts and red socks, not sure about that, basically a Clyde strip.......
