Any reason for the poor away attendance? Very sparse by the look of things.

Just listened to latest Walking Down Hope Street podcast, great listen with Rory Loy. He slaughters that clown Andy Thomson for slating certain players, Houston put him in his place. Absolute charlatan who helped run our club into the ground. Him and his likes shouldn't darken our door again.

As said all along, I just want us to stay grounded and keep winning games till the job is done, but i'm beginning to think that Queen of the South arent going to be in the title reckoning
Don't tell that to Ebobsboy that got it spectacularly wrong. Again.

Good to see the FSS hit the symbolic 25%. In the grand scheme of things that is all it is as not every other shareholder was ever going to vote against the FSS anyway so they already had more than enough to block any resolutions.
Not difficult to work out, though some had difficulty understanding that.

Bannockburn Amateurs
Milton AFC
Struggling Albion
3 Stirling area ' clubs' on order of merit.
Fair play to the 20 that stayed after the other 2 buggered off.Rest watching Sevco reruns probably.
What a rivalry. Tut tut.

Squirrelling Albion, the second best amateur team in the area after Bannockburn.

Swinney's interview on the whole pretty decent apart from squad update. Hope to get above and beyond last season's player budget but at the moment it's short. And that numbers are pretty close to what we are going with. Concerning.
It's also worrying that some folk that dropped out off the FSS where contributions directly help as stated by J Swinney are now concerned about the player budget. Incredulous.

See the 2002 patter post from a couple of pages back. You're recycling 'banter' from wind chime Jimmy. That isn't a compliment
Still called Clydebank Diamond I see, thought you might have changed that, but your loyal.
Bad result for you today btw.
Enjoy your night in the ludge.

Apparently 978 in Falkirk stand yesterday, looked a wee bit more, no need to open another section, plenty seats at back of other sections..... Good support . Thanks for the Navy blue pound, would think Dunfermline will bring more on there next visit to the Excelsior, they could probably win the title that day..
'Apparently ' Clydebank are ' probably called Airdrie now

Didn't realise there was an orange walk on yesterday hence the piss poor attendance in the home stand.
Pitch was an absolute disgrace.
Airdrie underestimated the size of support Falkirk would bring , barriered off area had to be opened when will they learn.
Bairns could have scored more .
Charlie Telfer hides when the going gets tough. Seen this movie before.
Home attendance glued to their tvs today to see their real team. ..after they've sniffed the glue.

Bringing in two different type of strikers gives us the option of going with two up top if required. McGlynn rarely changes the setup but this gives him more flexibility.

Just going back to the earlier chat of strongest team... I think Brad Mckay has a strong shout of being in it with Henderson in midfield tbh. Mckay over Mackie for me.
McKay is right footed, Mackie left footed. McGlynn won't play two right footed cb's unless he really needs to.

A cup run could save us from slashing the playing budget and possibly going to a hybrid setup next season.
3 -
Maybe the likes of Gary Deans, Doug Henderson etc could make a donation to help the club, after all they got us into this mess. Can't see then for dust.

If folk that can afford it don't want to sign up then fine, but please, please don't moan and complain if we go hybrid/ part time and the playing budget is cut .

What's the history with Ruari Paton and Falkirk that led to his strange goal celebration last night?
He's not used to big crowds like that and was milking it. Couldn't get off the park quick enough at the end after getting pumped mind you.

He has another season in his contract. Failing an absolute collapse of M&M, Sheerin and Rennie proportions I hope we stick with McGlynn.
No matter what his critics say he was saddled with a load of garbage by Holt with only McCann and Morrison (not a Holt signing) who are near the standard required.Spot on. Our worst league position in 40 odd years, there lies the difference between previous managers taking over a squad. To turn that round in one transfer window after being left with the Holt Hangover is a hard ask for anyone.

No Sevco game on Saturday so should add another half a dozen to the away support, will take it up to about 200.

He played there under Houstie a fair bit
And was very poor from memory

Paul Watson seemingly 'fit' for mid December according to McGlynns interview. With Donaldson, Henderson, McKay and Mackie could be Watson out on loan..would free up some wages hopefully. Can't see him forcing his way in after such a long period out.

True. But i think that is the only fixture that falkirk can rely on to get a good support from has made you guys miss it more,.
Bet you wish we were down that season, we would have increased your crowds enormously. You do get big crowds when playing well but severely plummet when not doing so good.

The number of people who can't spell 'lose' is quite alarming.
