  1. Meadow punching above their budget and with several long term injuries too. Currently 3rd in the League and still in the Scottish and West.
  2. Auchinleck are too good for this level and will win the Scottish Cup and the League for along as they want to. They should challenge themselves at the highest level possible. I understand that supporters don't want to travel but they must be getting bored winning everything. After their feats in the the senior and junior Scottish Cups over the years they have the financial muscle to lord it over the Juniors as long as they like, time for another level.
  3. I thought that Rossvale took the lead against the run of play just before half time. Scored a good second goal and were gifted the third, should have been cleared. Meadow's Jones went round the keeper and missed an open goal. Meadow scored from a great strike from McLaughlin, pressed for more and scored a very late second goal from Sharpe. Not a bad game in the conditions. I cant remember a Meadow win on 4g but can call to mind some very poor results in the last couple of seasons... Petershill, Renfrew, Cumnock, Largs
  4. The video was too far back to see Glenafton neds assaulting and spitting on the Medda manager and players. Particularly fat guy with a beard, he should be banned. Totally inadequate safe access to dressing rooms for visiting teams. At least the Glen's Committee were pushing neds back to allow door to be shut. Neds continued to threaten from outside dressing rooms and abuse from Social Club. Sadly, not the first instance at Glenafton. Threatening the journalist filming wasn't too clever either, he tries to promote the junior game.
  5. What about all the other seasons, Cup final, keeping them up with limited resources? There are now 3 teams in the West Premier looking for a new manager. The expectations of supporters is ridiculous. No idea of budgets or what is going on behind the scenes. Meadow manager Brian McGinty being a perfect example. Did a fantastic job getting Meadow promoted via the play offs from the fringes of relegation in his first season. After a very sticky start, one point from eight games, went on an incredible run to finish sixth. Some Committee knives were out, but fortunately those with more sense stuck by him and his management team. This season sitting second, with one of the lowest budgets in the league and with horrendous injuries. Stewart Maxwell has more than proved himself and quite rightly the KRR Committee have stuck by him. Better managers than him have overcome bad seasons and come back stronger.
  6. Disagree, he has done an excellent job at Rob Roy.
  7. Pretty awful run that Pollok are on, time for a change?
  8. Cracking result for Medda, only had 2 subs due to injuries and played the majority of the game with 10 men. Game was fairly even until sending off with Medda 1 up from a Carson goal playing up the slope. McGuire appeared to hit Beith player on the head with the ball at a throw in that was actually a Medda free kick. Backs to the wall in the second half, Medda defended well and in numbers against a strong wind. Beith no 8 scored a screamer to equalise. Shortly afterwards Forsyth a Medda sub scored just after coming on. Beith couldn't score a second in the 96 minutes played.
  9. Buffs deserved their win today. We were flattered by 1 - 2 defeat. We created very little, but bad as we played were still in the game at 1 - 2. Buffs were the better team and deserved their win. Early in the season but we have been unlucky with injuries to key players.
  10. Couldn't agree more, the difference in effort from this team and the Glasgow mob that were relegated is night and day. They were by far the worst in recent memory.
  11. I would have taken a point before the game but after the sending off was expecting more but Glenafton played well with 10 men and hit the bar in the last minute. Highlights will be interesting, very angry guy next to the guy filming.
  12. IMFC CIC AGM for Shareholders is next Sunday in the Social Club at 12.00 Agenda Adoption of last year's Minutes Financial Report Election of Office Bearers Team Manager's Report Only Shareholder's can attend
  13. Great progress at Medda Park, finances under control, numerous improvements to facilities and social club. Committed management team and playing squad. Supporters must be delighted with the turnaround. A sustainable operating plan that will see all debts paid off at the end of 2021 season from what I hear. Unbelievable progress from 3 years ago when the Club was on its knees.
  14. When players are subbed and have to leave the pitch where they are what do they do to hide their team colours?
  15. Perhaps there were instances in the past where League Winners medals were handed out at the game where the title was won but that game wasn't reflective of players that had played all season and the wrong players received medals. It wasn't a Cup Final. Makes sense to me for the Club to distribute League Medals to those that played enough games rather than after one League game.
  16. What a strike for a last gasp equaliser today. Well done to players and management for a league season that exceeded expectations.
  17. KL played 27 points 29 still to play Auchinleck (A) Cambuslang (A) Hurlford (A) Renfrew played 28 points 29 still to play Hurlford (A) Pollok (A) Troon played 26 points 28 still to play Largs (A) Clydebank (A) Auchinleck (H) Glenafton (H) KRR played 26 points 28 still to play Clydebank (A) Auchinleck (H) Hurlford (H) Beith (H) Kilbirnie should beat Cambuslang to reach 32 points. Renfrew have 2 tough away fixtures and could be stuck on 28 points Troon and KRR would both need 3 points from remaining 4 fixtures or 1 point and goal difference assuming Renfrew don't get anything from last 2 games.
  18. I see that Stevie Clark is odds on favourite to be the new Fulham manager for the start of 2019/20 season.
  19. Thats my point, no West team has a license to enable promotion to Tier 5 and finances dictate will be years away or never so why structure a season around an end date for a pointless play off. Entry at Tier 7 takes the mid April end date away. If not, shoehorning nearly 50% fixtures into the first 2 full months of the season will be with us every season unless league sizes are reduced.
