  1. **Fantasy Golf Week 16** Hair we fucking go The Aussie duo of Marc Leishman and the fantastically haired Cam Smith managed to see off the South African pair of Oosthuizen and Schwarzel to lift the Zurich Classic. Back in Europe, the increasingly impressive 21 year old South African Garrick Higgo landed his third tour title and jumps to 65th in the OWGR. Things have tightened up slightly in the battle for the Todger Strunk Cup. Back to Florida and to the Copperhead course at the Innisbrook resort we go for the Valspar, with Paul Casey chasing a third straight title. Not your typical Florida track, plenty of elevation and pine trees reminiscent of courses across the state lines in the Carolina's and Georgia. The 'snakepit' finishing stretch should provide plenty of bite. (ha ha) We're in the middle of a 3 week Iberian swing in Europe, Golf Costa Adeje is the venue for the Tenerife Open. Hands up those who would inevitably find their ball wedged against the stones on the weird split fairways here.
  2. After watching Rangers v St Johnstone, that was a massive let down.
  3. Delicious. A career ending post from MJC too. Delete your account m9.
  4. Scottish football remains undefeated.
  5. Happy with a draw here too. I'd lost any initiative and your superior play forced me into just not trying to make an error. Spent ages mulling over sacking the bishop in the corner here and drawing your king out to the middle, but if you played the correct moves I would have just been a piece down and losing. Well played and you're the best player I've played on here since the league started. I expect you'll beat me in the return with the advantage of the white pieces.
  6. **Fantasy Golf Week 15** that cinking feeling Old man Cink won the Heritage, 21 years after his first win at Harbour Town. His bright shiny dome now becomes the honorary lighthouse for the year, a beacon of hope for old ships/golfers in distress, until he defends his title next April. Quite a few of the top finishers are not fantasy leagers, including Cink, although DJ managed a top 20 place and his first points since the middle of February. Elsewhere, John Catlin won in Austria after what seemed like a never ending play off with Max Kieffer. They played the par 18th 5 times before Kieffer went all tin cup and dumped 4 in the water. Martin Kaymer came 3rd. Roughly a third of the way through the competition now, and this is how we're looking. Bit of a quiet week as we start gearing up for the next big one, the USPGA Championship in 4 weeks time. The European tour is sunning itself in Gran Canaria at Meloranis, an absolute birdie fest of a course which may see someone breaking 60 this week. We may as well rename it the Pete Dye Tour as we are yet again at another of his designs this week on the PGA, TPC Louisiana just outside New Orleans for the Zurich Classic. Built in the middle of the swamp/bayou, it's not one of his best designs, but still classical Dye, sand, water etc, you know the drill by now. This of course is a 2 man team event, rounds 1+3 are better ball and 2+4 alternate shot. Fantasy points scored as normal here.
  7. Apologies lads. It's on it's way.
  8. Khan is obviously a stick on, so it's all on Count Binface getting more votes than Laurence Fox for me.
  9. Aye, unless either of us made a glaring error, it was going to end in a draw. No point in prolonging it.
  10. A tiny sliver of justice for once. God bless this 17 year old lassie for filming it, because if she hadn't, there wouldn't have even been a trial.
