In all honesty the strikers we have had at the club prior to this season aren’t going to score the goals we need. I hope the new boys are good but with Ayunga out I do feel trying to get a couple out and an experienced striker in would undoubtedly help

I genuinely don’t wish Morton any I’ll. I feel it’s great that people down there support there local team. I hope they do well . For me I want to go and beat Hearts etc away from home much more than beat Morton. Maybe I’d feel different if we were in same league but that’s not happened for a while

Absolutely mate - the difference a good goalkeeper makes is enormous. Today I could see Gallagher getting annoyed at the lack of instructions. I’m not being down on the lad but he’s definitely going to need to go some to beat Trevor

Time to let the guys who aren’t cutting it go out on loan if not for good. This might help us free up enough cash for a player who actually might bag a few. It’s no use being a 4 goal a season striker and last season we know this was our Achilles heel

We need more than 3 players . That’s my point - and as for some of the young lads you propose promoting to play first team top flight football I’d say that’s unlikely too.

We have no goals in the team / one new striker and who else? Grieve, Jamieson, offord I’d be astounded if The manager went with this for our opening games. I’d say he will want several in before window closes .

I’d say keep one of our best players and retain the continuity we have. Let’s not kid ourselves we won’t get six figures more like 50 k which wouldn’t cover His wage or loan fee.

Gallagher was poor - look at the goal we lost in cup final - a header from 18 yards wasn’t it. He was also crap at crosses and penalties

Yes I can’t see it and expect him to be our main man again. His kicking was outstanding last year too as well as his general play.

I think he’s better mate - look at his performances and look at the crucial games he won us points - granted the team is generally better but Carson was an absolute colossus this year and to lose him would be a huge blow especially when we are talking about replacing him with someone who wasn’t good enough for a poor Kilmarnock

I feel that surely the best thing is for Carson to remain - they are both men who have been close for years at Motherwell, Morecambe and Saints - indeed Carson was first to extend. Please make this not be true as for me Carson is the best goalie we’ve had in the last few years and that says something considering how good Hdladky and Alnwick were

We are a wee team who will continue to sign decent players who will play for a year then we will sell them for peanuts as if we keep them we will lose them for nothing. So really why don’t the club clear up what the deal is? Is the v poor 275 k or is it better . We aren’t going to be signing Ronaldo so if we’re getting another 100k let the fans know. Or maybe it is 250k and another terrible deal like the many gone before
