  1. It’s not impressive when you consider he’s went in to become a full international who played at the World Cup. I’d hope this 275k figure is not true and we might be looking at higher than this.
  2. Mate if we didn’t sell them cheap folk wouldn’t be upset. We’re losing an international for buttons it seems. I don’t claim to know what’s going on but clearly someone does and it’s been leaked. If you feel 275k is good fine. I’m actually over it and we’ll used to it it just annoys me we aren’t able to get fees and probably never will. As someone said earlier we are a diddy club but a diddy club we all want the best for.
  3. Robbo is a brilliant manager we love the club but we are what we are a small fry who loses international players for peanuts
  4. Motherwell at least coined in good cash when they lost players
  5. Seems then that the 800k we got for Ian F in 1988 will always be our best sale. We will simply never have a position of strength as we are essentially a wee diddy team. I mean don’t go off at me here it’s what we are we are a wee team that’ll do well to find a good player get him to sign for 2 years and after he’s done well he will go for peanuts. Let’s be honest it’s peanuts we are dealing with here. Have you seen the money EFL clubs will get from sky ? 275k is a drop in the ocean and we will need to get used to losing our best players for very little. Mallan 200k , McLean 250k, Morgan 300k and now Keanu for 275k. It is what it is and we will always be a team that’ll sell on the cheap. We will should be delighted that our gaffer got is 6th as it’s possible that’ll be our highest league finish for another 40 years .
  6. 275 is a joke and if true it’s horrendous business. Add ons are always unlikely - 275 k for a full international. Unbelievable if true simply a shit deal - we must be desperate
  7. Yea hats brilliant maybe we will get those add ons for David McNamee and Burton o Brien while we’re at it. Add ons don’t enhance our mangers budget
  8. If Bacchus is sold let’s tell the fans what the deal is. Don’t go down the undisclosed fee route. He’s a talent and he’s played at a World Cup and will clearly improve further. Let’s not sell him for 300k that’s a joke.
  9. Grieve cannot do the job Main did as he’s physically not as strong - I believe he’s decent but he’s not a starter if we are serious about finishing top six again. I trust the manager will have someone in mind and hopefully he gets a replacement in as Main was excellent
  10. Good player who works hard but not a first pick as his goal return is not good enough yet. A good sub to have and a worker bit like most not a prolific scorer or even a goal every three or four games say
  11. I mean fair enough for a friendly knock about but don’t try telling me anyone still really cares about the “Renfrewshire derby “ . Standing on the the benches with no roof might be old school but I’d rather be going to many other Scottish grounds before this. i imagine tho it’ll get a bigger crowd than most other opponents would so makes sense
  12. Thistle I feel are not on the same level as Saints. I mean over the years we have been above them more often than not. Let’s hope we build on this season and push on
  13. Top leader and signing for Dundee. If anyone thinks Taylor is better then that’s crazy talk. Looks decent on the ball but his positional play will need a huge amount of work. Gallagher is a good player but looked slower than Joe to be fair. I think when you consider the goals he contributed for us too Dundee have got a good player. Love that folk think 31 is old. Are we honestly expecting to sign better than him? Personally I’d have given him a two year deal kept his leadership and organising abilities at the club. Sorry to see him go to a rival
  14. When’s this friendly happening ? Heard someone mention it today ? Assuming it’ll be at Cappielow
  15. When he talks about there being no structure in place what does he mean? Did Jim not leave the foundation to build on after all he came in after Kearney and appeared to improve us year on year. Or was the foundations cut away with cuts?Where the cuts done last summer and as a result of covid or overspending or both. Sorry if this is answered elsewhere. I would like to know what the chances are now if progressing and becoming the side that’s regular in the top six and that is confidently a premier league team each year. We have the chance now to grow? If we don’t capitalise on this we will regret it . Let’s see if we can grow. Do you think we can give the manager a chance to grow this club
  16. Wondering if anyone can help. Looking for a main stand ticket for my wee nephew. I have bought him a 15 pounds concession for behind the goals but he’s too young and wondered if anyone fancied a swap or if someone’s not going I’ll buy their seat - thanks norrie
  17. Nope simelar fan base to Motherwell who have been much better than us in the premier league. Hamilton can’t get 1500 at league games, Caley will be 2500 and county around 3500 but they do have an excellent manager and chairman. We will grow the support if we actually win some games at home. Our home form hasn’t been good for years now. As for the team it’s well short and if this is it in terms of recruitment then I do feel it’ll be very difficult to see us having a decent season.
  18. Change or not we need to get this sorted quickly . A win on Saturday please
  19. Unbelievable to think people are now talking about going down ?? This guy took over a team that were bound for the top six yet we should accept relegation and keep the faith. Can you honestly see us sticking with this manager if we go down? Imagine he had a bad start ? Look I think he will survive but it’s been absolutely terrible from all concerned for months now
  20. The whole thing seems like it’s a total mess. The mood surrounding the team is not good and this could have been handled better. If we are indeed caught by St Johnstone I would worry about us in a playoff. The manager has made it clear he wants only those committed so he’s made his bed and now it’s he who will need to sort this and quickly to avoid potentially damaging his decent reputation. I hope he can and will be supporting him.
  21. The way I see this is that the players are definitely going to need to get us out of this but I question the wisdom of telling some they’re not needed. How can you possibly even consider this when your chasing a top six spot. It’s absolutely terrible timing. The worry now is that we have players who have downed tools and I’m now genuinely fearing we end up in the playoffs. This has the whiff of Terry Butcher at Hibernian . Really surprised at how the manager has played this since he came in because it’s been very poor and what was a club sitting sixth and in tremendous form upon his arrival now looks totally rudderlesss
  22. I love how Aberdeen think they’re a massive club. They struggle to get 10,000 at home these days and have thoughts of being the third biggest team in the land. Miles behind Heart of Midlothian and also behind Hibernian too.
