By George I've got it! Top league of 16 play each other twice. Top 4 play again twice for title. Bottom 4 play again twice for relegation. Middle split into 2 leagues of 4 for a European spot. 36 games. 4 sacred old firm games. (probably) Everybody's a winner [emoji4]

I've always wanted a 16 team league. Most leagues in Europe have 16 or 18 or 20 team leagues. Even similar sized countries like Sweden and Norway have 16 team leagues. Playing each other 4 times is boring. 16 team leagues wouldn't have many meaningless games either as 5 or 6 teams at the top would be fighting for Europe or promotion and 5 or 6 teams at the bottom fighting relegation.

It would basically just be made up with lowland and highland league teams along with the junior teams that are joining the pyramid soon. The bottom 2 leagues would only need to meet whatever criteria current lowland and highland leagues have. They wouldn't get much of the prize money either, most of that would go to the top 2 leagues. Would be good to have a proper pyramid like England.

I would go for 16-16-16-16. 3 up 3 down with English league style playoffs. League Cup - top 32 teams in a champions league style cup. Challenge Cup - bottom 32 teams in a champions league style cup. All teams guaranteed 36 games, 18 at home for season tickets. Scottish Cup - 64 teams in 1 legged games. Only problem no 4 old firm games for TV. Maybe Scottish football is about more than 2 teams!

Not really league reconstruction will be voted on by all teams and premiership will be included in any plans.

I'd prefer bigger leagues playing each other 4 times gets boring. Sky want 4 old firm games so probably 3 leagues of 14 would suit most.

Whatever season tickets are owed they could give as a discount off next season's season ticket? Would be up to the season ticket when renewing whether to take the discount or not. If they aren't renewing give them some free tickets for next season? Everybody is in different financial positions so cant criticise people for loyal fans wanting something back.

Going round in circles but you cant finish a season and relegate or promote teams when there are still games left to play. Finish the season when it's safe to do so. If that means shortening next season so be it. Last I heard England are going down this route too.

Finish this season. If it delays next season who cares make it shorter, easy enough to do. This wont happen though because SPFL only cares about the new improved Sky TV deal next season and having 4 old firm games. Nothing can can get in the way of this. As usual it's all about the bigots!

If any colts want to join they can sign up with the junior teams and start at the very bottom. Only way it can be done.

Agree. Last season is finished now. The last game seems like ages ago and no likely start date any time soon. I'm still keen on a 14-14-14 setup when it does restart.
