  1. Found a bar with real Bohemian-style beer. Love the Slavic flavour.
  2. Most popular English actors annoy me by default. Scots are cool, though.
  3. I have found out that vodka goes particularly well with vegetarian meals. No, really, a restaurant actually served me like that. It's very, very Russian apparently.
  4. Manley McBiefington is a real name, but no one would believe it.
  5. When working in the US I became a victim of crab meat infection in the salad bars in the area. How's that for a first world problem. Eat at home, I keep telling myself.
  6. Currently admitting to myself that I'm not just feeling down. I used to believe that depression was fake. Very stupid.
  7. What I hate about eating out is the way the waiters in expensive restaurants always look at you. they can be super polite, but they have those dead fish eyes hiding irritation. The more expensive the restaurant, the clearer the spite is.
  8. When I discovered that after my last restaurant binge I could fit into my pants bought last year I decided to, as you put it, get fit. If it's not too late for me to try. My problem is that I love to eat once, but lots.
  9. A Cheesy 90-s space opera called "Space Commandos" I miss the simpler times.
  10. I've had the strangest feeling when trying the special at a noodle bar I've discovered. They sell it as something unique, but I actually felt like I was eating rubber. It was surprisingly pleasant, like tasty rubber. But still rubber.
  11. I have rather fond memories of Thomson's from when I was in Edinburgh. It was one of the few places the locals didn't give me the evil eye, and the drinks were good enough for my head to stay clear despite having a lot of them. The gentleman at the bar was very good at his job.
  12. Since I'm on a sudden vacation from driving around the American continent to make deals no one cares about, fattening myself with some beer in local bars. Americans cannot into ber, but what choice do I have, their whiskey is even worse. I miss London.
  13. My Catso and Cooky look like a music album cover,
  14. I'm currently residing in an area with only two options for eating out, and I hate cooking. So it's either Korean or Japanese every day, so I think sushi will start popping out of my ears soon. Still, yesterday I enjoyed some good Korean BBQ, which is a breeze at this point. Now if only I could deal with the sotmachaches...
  15. If you're talking about the Bond movie, i agree. And it was written by the same people who are writing for Bond now. They also wrote Skyfall and Casino Royale. Imagine my shock.
  16. Ah, Glasgow. The place so ruggedly beautiful I'd live there myself if I could stand the climate of the place. Well, maybe I'm just too poetic for my age. Anyway, the cty has some of the best pubs and restaurants this side of the Atlantic, and some of the most interesting people to stay away from. The stories I could tell about the loveable drunk men who tried to befriend my hipster-goatee-decorated face with their fists can make for an Edgar Wright movie. Still, the country that birthed Sean Connery deserves the right to exist, and so does Glasgow as the essence of it.
  17. My main problem with this movie is that it's not a movie about war. Or characters. It's a movie about how cool Noland and Zimmer are at making movies and soundtracks.
  18. You got me at "Tom Hanks and Emma Watson". I love a good cast, even though the social media thing is getting boring since Fincher.
  19. I know how it's going to go: ""We're brexiting, in the process, seriously... check with us in another 10 years, then we'll surely be just about to brexit completely."
  20. Gwent... not even once. I'm currently trying to finish another walkthroug of W3 without playing it once.
  21. Just rewatched The Wild Geese. He's amazing in it. RIP SIr Roger.
  22. Why haven't I heard this sone back when it came out? Why did I stop listening to Purple at all?
  23. Rome, to me, feels very very old, and thus sinister. I don't know, maybe this feeling is charming to some people, but to me it kind of feels like a crypt. One big ancient crypt.
  24. I'm probably late with this, but... I'm no expert on Edinburgh pubs, the only one I actually know is The Wee Pub, and I liked it fine. There seems to be a lot more, but my experience was cut rather short last time after some very upstanding men tried to punch me and my friend in the face for looking and sounding Spanish. My face still remembers those genlemen, and I hope that the balls of the one who made me go to a dentist remembers my boot. It was a fun,fun time in Edinburgh. I'm thinking of going there again and trying some more local pubs and bars. Anyway, here's some more Kate to compliment the one above.
