  1. Yah Peller can be hit or miss, what is the white you got?
  2. Canadian wine is getting a lot better mate, got some good wineries in Ontario and BC. Yes if you buy it at the LCBO they will give you a paper bag though
  3. Which ones did you get? I can probably tell you if the white is going to be god or not.
  4. Wine, it's an Ontario wine called Inniskillin Riesling-Pinot Grigio. It's finally freakin' summer weather so I'm going to have white wine. Plus I plan to cook chicken for dinner
  5. That would be more amusing if it wasn't so terrifying. This guy can order a nuclear strike, just let that sink in for a moment, and my country has a front row seat to the madness. I bet our Prime Minister found teaching high school theatre less melodramatic than dealing with that guy.
  6. My Uncle does similar, he keeps the bottles from his expensive Scotch Whiskies and re-fills them with cheap Canadian whisky lol
  7. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-fined-20000-uefa-illicit-10883168 Is the Record copy edited from the pub or something? More laziness Pretty sure they meant to use the word condemn which is used later in the article
  8. So I had probably the ultimate "shat the bed" moment in FM 2017. Season 2027-28, Celtic in the Champions League quarter final against Monaco, won the first leg 4-0 at home so feeling confident. Just before the second leg my first choice Left Back, Kieran Tierney, gets injured with the second choice already out meaning I need to play one of my CB's out of position at LB, still no worries. Second leg at Monaco I play things tight in the first half with the score at 0-0 at the break, so far so good. Suddenly my normally quite excellent back 4 completely stop being able to play defence, and I concede 5 times including the losing goal on a clear penalty in the 85th minute to go out 5-4 on aggregate
  9. Apparently Celtic's former mystery goalie Leo Fasan is on trial with Kilmarnock. Even though he spent 7 years on the books at Celtic I don't know much about the guy apart from the fact that he's Italian, a goalie, and 23 years old. He played 10 times for Port Vale on loan last year apparently being good at saving penalties but not great at other aspects of his game. Due to the lack of info about him I actually wasn't aware that he had left Celtic...
  10. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtics-successful-safe-standing-leads-10887896 Dodgy proofreading again from the Daily Record. Aren't currently what there oh Daily Record? Seems as though you missed something
  11. So his party is voting against him, his military won't implement the contents of his tweets and have refuted some of the things said and his white house is in complete dissaray, it's like the West Wing merged with Benny Hill Bye Bye USA as a superpower, occasionally it was nice knowing ya
  12. Don't know much about this new Lithuanian player but his name is pretty badass so I approve of him lol
  13. We definitely need a new winger, James Forrest just isn't consistent enough and Jonny Hayes isn't quite good enough. Essentially we need a Patrick Roberts that we can actually afford.
  14. I'm a bit confused about the definition of "the fence" in this scenrio as well. Also kids don't often give much advance warning before they need the toilet, so when the lad announced he needed a pee it could mean he was 10 seconds away from going in his trousers.
  15. Eh, we TEND to be more polite, there are still some douchebags running around up here. Oh and that article is from last year BTW
  16. It's a shame Zanatta appears to be hurt at the moment, these League Cup group games against lower league opposition would have been a useful opportunity for him to impress
  17. It really depends on the quality of the coaching. If they have coaches that are good at developing younger players then it could be good, but I agree that a newly promoted team may not be the best place for him given that there may be a lot less margin for error.
  18. So looking at match stats of Hearts' game Saturday and a guy named Petkov played the second half? According to Soccerway he's a 16 year old Bulgarian but what else do Hearts fans know about this lad? Didn't see the game but did he play well? Also what's up with Dario Zanatta? He's Canadian so I'm interested in how he's doing but he doesn't seem to have a chance of getting much playing time at Hearts this year
  19. I wouldn't mate, that's a pricey late night TUD
  20. They are pretty bad, mostly because they are filled with corn syrup and other hangover inducing shite, Becks at least complies with the Reinheitsgebot meaning it doesn't have all the extra crap.
  21. Becks is Germany's generic domestic pish that every country has. Canada's versions are Molson's Canadian and Labatt's Blue, if you come here don't drink them, they are awful.
  22. Schwartzbier is one of the great and under appreciated beer styles. Hope you find the beer you are looking for.
  23. It's the political stuff that annoys me. Maybe I am naive as someone who started cheering for Celtic for purely footballing reasons (mainly Henrik Larsson) but a football stadium isn't really the forum for political debates IMHO. I love the colour that the GB bring but the political stuff only gets Celtic in trouble when the rules are 100% clear. And now they have had a meltdown after the club tried to curb their political stuff.
  24. Tonight's opener was Rye Guy, a tasty rye based IPA from Beyond the Pale brewing, I regularly drink their stuff because the brewery is less than 10 minutes from my house by foot.
