Even if the rumours are completely off the wall, at least it's something to talk about lol -

I know right? We still need a winger and a centre back but there have been next to no rumours, not even rumours about surplus players leaving. -
Follow Follow Rangers. Season 2023/24

On paper adding the likes of Dorrans and Jack should improve the Rangers midfield, they can't be any worse than Halliday, Holt, Windass, et al can they? However as the current resident of the Ibrox managers office is Pedro Caixina, I could see them score fewer points than last season due to tactical ineptitude. Warburton's signing policy was shite, Pedro's tactices are shite, at least under Graeme Murty the shite players seemed to work hard. -

Ouch, looks as though Boyata will be out for a while with knee ligament damage. Ligaments usually take a while to heal so this could be a bad one. -

A lot of people care about this bit of news lol. I thought he was OK for you guys, not amazing but OK. He's also from Indianapolis which is a city I quite enjoy so I guess that's why I had a soft spot for him I guess -
The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread

I personally believe that clubs should develop players through their youth academies and I would say that most of the Premiership teams do a good job of this, including Kilmarnock and St. Johnstone. Celtic, Partick, Motherwell, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs and Hamilton have also had a decent record in recent years on this front while Dundee and Ross County have an OK but not great record. Oh and then there is Sevco -
Another c**t on train story from a few years ago. Was in Montreal to see a MLS game, it was April so it was played indoors at the Olympic Stadium (also known as the Big Owe). Anyways after the match most people went down to get on the Metro to head back downtown (the Big Owe being a ways away from downtown Montreal) and the train was packed. Standing right next to us was a dad (Englishman) with his two kids who both had those plastic vuvuzela horn things and the kids proceeded to blow in the horn really fucking loudly and the shitty dad just ignored them playing on his phone, eventually he half heartedly told them to knock it off but they didn't and he went back to his phone. Was a very loud, and packed train ride

Isn't he more of a Right Back? Seems to me that's where he played when he was with Rangers so it seems odd that Kilmarnock would sign both him and O'Donnell, who IMHO is going to be the better signing than Broadfoot. -

Didn't that guy also get banned for a Sectarian outburst while playing for Rotherham? -

500k only for Barrie McKay? Rangers should have gotten at least a million for him. This could mean that they probably won't have any academy products as first team regulars this season. -

Also apparently Southampton are interesting in paying 10 million for Stuart Armstrong and Celtic are signing Charly Musonda from Chelsea so I tend not to believe most of what I read -

Easiest for Celtic would be Spartak Moscow - Porto-Olympiakos- Group of Death would be Bayern Munich-Barcelona-Tottenham -

http://www.rosscountyfootballclub.co.uk/news/archive/breaking-news-jamie-lindsay-joins-the-club-on-loan-from-celtic-fc-until-the-end-of-the-season/ Looks like you guys signed Jamie Lindsay on loan for the season. He did well for Morton last year so I think this will be a good signing for Ross County. He's one of those lads who isn't quite Celtic material but could become a solid player for other Premiership sides. -
Mostly get along with the folks on my floor, my immediate team for sure but there are a few people I have to deal with that can be a pain in the arse. One guy, Richard, is one of those guys who is really smart and needs to make sure everyone is aware of it. He's also really long winded so any time he talks to you it takes ages and his emails are usually a few paragraphs too long. I actively avoid asking him anything if I can avoid it because I don't have time for his long answers

Waters is one of those guys who wasn't quite Celtic material but still has the potential to be a good Mid table Premiership player. He's small and quick (similar to Greg Taylor) but I never cheer against the wee blokes (as someone who is shorter than the 5'6" Waters) so I wish him the best and hope he does well for Kilmarnock. -

Looking for a job there Stevie? Trying to butter up the bears so that he can convince them to sign him maybe? -
It's definitely on my bucket list

I've never been down that far in Croatia but enjoyed Split when I went in 2008. If you will have a car I suggest driving down the coast into Montenegro and the Bay of Kotor, my sister went there a few years ago and said it's really beautiful and like an hours drive from Dubrovnik

Just a minor complaint, but it was way too hard to find St. Johnstone's result on the BBC Scottish football page. Sevco's was front story -

He's 19 and described as a box to box midfielder. Looking forward to seeing how he does. -
Funny how Billy Davies is also managing Sevco in my Scottish save. Oh speaking of which, I had a regen player named Aaron O'Connor score 60 goals in all competitions for my Celtic team in season 2025-26, including 4 in a game against Sevco. Also Scotland made it to the final of the 2026 World Cup, losing against Belgium. Pretty far fetched World Cup seeing as Canada made it to the Semi-Final.

I think Brendan is just giving Anton some time to get fit while he looks for a club and a few of the other midfielders in the squad were carrying knocks so Brendan decided to give him some practice time. Realistically Anton isn't Celtic material but he could be a decent pickup for other SPFL clubs or he could head back to English League One or Two
