  1. How is it not fair to “throw” it at him? Would you say his first venture into management has been a success?
  2. I looked at the team we put out today and thought to myself that might be our strongest team we have. The fact we were outclassed by a side with 10 men, no matter who they are or where they are in the league, tells me there is simply no excuses anymore. Loved Kettlewell as a player but he’s never a manager in a million years, unfortunately.
  3. Understand we can’t expect to go to Killie and win the game but if we get nothing from the game from this position serious questions have got to be asked.
  4. Thought we played well and were extremely unlucky not to get anything from that game. But for a couple of very good saves from their keeper we could’ve left with three points, let alone one.Thought Christie and Tierney were both exceptional; full of energy and controlled the game really. McGinn struggled a bit I thought today, the game passed him by and he couldn’t really get a grip of the game. I’ve also been an advocate for McBurnie but I think if he keeps getting selected for the team then he must have something on Clarke because he really doesn’t bring much to this team. Commentators keep saying it’s down to confidence but I just think he doesn’t know what to do when he gets in front of goal. Let’s not forget, Slovakia are a decent side and that was a decent goal they scored. Might’ve taken a nick but it was good build up play prior. All in all positives to take but still plenty to learn before the Euros.
  5. I have been Ketts’ biggest critic, but the opportunity he’s given to the young boys over the last few years has been second to none in all fairness.
  6. That midfield 3 of Paton and Lakin just ahead of Kelly might be the way to go. Looked full of energy last night.
  7. Thought we played alright last night. Took a while to get going in first half but once we got the goal we dominated the half. Same again second half took a while to get going then the game got quite open and probably could’ve gone either way. Maybe if Gardyne was subbed earlier that could’ve prevented the goal but that boils down to himself as nobody knows his body better than him.
  8. Looks like a 352 to me. Kelly Paton and Lakin midfield sounds extremely promising. Shaw and Stewart up top; weirdly confident now but that looks like one of our best lineups this season so far.
  9. Quite unbelievable original patter. Away and take your face for a shite you wet wipe.
  10. First time he’s received a ball facing the oppositions goal that isn’t 12ft in the air. Boy deserves a run in the team, works his socks off whenever he gets a chance.
  11. I’m sorry mate but this is an awful take. Why can’t a club have ambition? We have a forward-thinking chairman, excellent training facilities and I would say a fairly capable squad. My personal opinion is that this squad is certainly good enough to avoid relegation and there is definitely a top six spot available, so why shouldn’t fans set that as a target because if everyone pulled their wait, as shown at this “wee village club” before, we can achieve top 6. To say that Kettlewell may have had his hands tied is nonsense. He brought in a whole new defence this year as well as some other dossers. Roy has backed him every year he’s been here but ultimately his recruitment hasn’t been good enough. Don’t get me wrong i’m aware recruitment isn’t solely on him but he has (i’m assuming) final say on who signs and who doesn’t. This has been a tough year for us all and we’re just looking for the players to show a bit of fight and a bit of hunger to win. I’m aware there are things more important than football but it’s means so much to us which is why we are all vocal because we all want the best for the club. Everyone is completely entitled to their own opinion, and mine is that with Kettlewell in charge we are starting down the barrel of a gun.
  12. Might not be shame in losing one game to United, but there is certainly shame in 1 win in 11 league games. 2 goals scored in 7 games, I think the negativity is completely warranted.
  13. Roy would (hopefully) not go down the road of using youth coaches because it’s clearly not working. There’s a couple of proven managers in Scotland without clubs, throw the book at them if we’re honestly serious about staying in this league because currently I see no way we won’t go down at the end of this season.
  14. Can already hear Kettlewell complain about the second goal in the interview but we really are a defensive shambles. Should be time up for that walloper but it’s jobs for the boys so nout will happen.
  15. County to lose to 0, Iain Vigurs to get booked and Ross Stewart to miss 7 sitters. Goodnight all.
  16. If we’re not creating many chances, we don’t deserve anything. Which is what happened.
  17. Fucking embarrassing. The inability to defend mixed with not taking your chances isn’t going to end well for us. Only looking down the table now.
  18. I was a very harsh critic of Charles-Cook after his first few games, but it seems a run in the team is doing his confidence the world of good and he actually looks like there is potential for a decent player there.
  19. Or going all the way to Dingwall and being consigned to the relegation playoff - swiftly followed by a rather humorous penalty defeat to *checks notes* Hamilton.
  20. What I want the team to be: Doohan Randall Donaldson Iacovitti Reid Draper Paton Kelly Stewart Mckay Hylton What the team will be: Laidlaw Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs Vigurs
