  1. Check the Oldham twitter account. And of course I’m taking what they say with a pinch of salt really - I have full faith in every one of our new signings and I back him to do as well as he possibly can. Welcome etc.
  2. They are the vast minority. The rest are urging the door not to hit his arse as he walks out. Something along the lines of - “his best attributes are hitting the ball long into space and out for a goal kick”.
  3. PP doing the same thing again today for City v Chelsea if anybody fancies the Chelsea DNB for no risk.
  4. There’s Stephen Kelly signed on loan from Rangers. Another centre mid...
  5. It’s very poor that the club aren’t doing pay-per-view home games too. It’s either you fork out £250+ for games you could miss (through work commitments etc) or you get nothing apart from away games you can watch. Thought there would be some option for PPV home but again pretty piss poor.
  6. Could be utter shite, but I’ve heard that wee James Graham is away to Rangers and instead of a fee Rangers are giving us Stephen Kelly? Again, don’t take my word but it’s a decent source.
  7. Thoughts? I like them both, but the home is a cracker.
  8. Free £5 bet on PP yet again, this time for Everton - Liverpool. Again, you don’t have to use it on this which I don’t even know if they’re aware of yet - surely?
  9. Money Back as cash on Bournemouth v Palace if Bournemouth win - stick on Palace Draw no Bet at 11/10. Bournemouth win - stake returned in cash. Draw - Bet voided and stake returned in cash. Palace win - Doubled your stale. Literally a no loss situation.
  10. I’m sorry but I can’t see how County can justify any price raises for season tickets? Yes times are hard. I understand that. But they’ve come out and said that they originally wanted to refrain from selling Season Tickets. Now they’ve come out and said they’ve been made to. Probably not their fault - again I can accept it. But if they’re coming out and saying that they have to sell the season tickets, why are the raising prices of almost every ticket? I can’t justify it and don’t understand how County can. Would I have bought my Staggies Army subscription if I’d known there was going to be season tickets on sale? Probably, but many others wouldn’t have. Just disappointed really?
  11. If you fancy a good laugh; get yourself onto twitter, type in ross county and go into the latest bit, and just watch the Hearts fans seethe at the fact we’re not for their reconstruction con. Perfect reading for a Monday morning.
  12. By the looks of things he seems to be in the plans for next season - twitter training video from today shows him taking part so I assume he’ll have a part to play next season; as much as I hope he doesn’t. No disrespect obviously intended but we do have 4 better options at centre half at the club already and we could really do with offloading dead weight and spending it on other areas i.e in goals and on the wing.
  13. What I took from the co-management was that Fergie was the more behind the scenes manager anyway. I reckon he had a big say in terms of tactics and personnel, but apart from that Ketts tended to take charge in things like Pre/Post match interviews and even in the dugout he’d generally be the one shouting commands. I think if Ketts becomes stuck he’ll go to Fergie for help so I generally don’t think there’s going to be that much of a change in that respect apart from the promotion of RB and Don’s addition to the Matchday staff.
  14. By all accounts he had a good season at Hibs, so I imagine they’ll probably be back in for him. Short answer is not a chance will we resign him, unfortunately.
  15. Good servant to the club but ultimately lost his spark and was probably the right time for him to leave. Looked a player shot of confidence majority of this season. Did a lot for us and can’t take anything away from him though. Good luck to the lad.
  16. Donaldson is 25 so is slowly approaching his prime years, and Grivo is only 20 so has plenty of time to mould into a top-six centre half. Bleeding them in now would be excellent as they could be a strong pairing in 3-4 years time if we consistently selected those two whenever available. Ideally, you have Kelly and Foster on the outside of those two - a strong back 4. However, they’re not going to leave Marcus Fraser out to dry but I can only assume they’re trying to bring at least 2 full backs in now.
  17. Surprised with the names of the players leaving. Foster was a consistent 7/10 player - knew what you were getting. Kelly, I thought, had improved a considerable amount even since the start of the season. Spence is understandable because we do have a lot of options in the middle of the park and his game time was becoming minimal by the end of the season. McManus clearly did well at Falkirk but don’t think he can cut the mustard at Premiership level. As I say, disappointed with Kelly and Foster leaving alongside the whole reserve team but it’s understandable as club preservation has to come first and no player is bigger than the club. As for the whole extending contract and furloughing players - it has to be a more complex procedure than some are assuming as do you not think those at the top of a Premiership football club would maybe have thought of doing that? Just a thought because I’m not sure this is how County wanted these players gone but I think it was the way they had to go about it. What I have seen, though, is that Marcus Fraser has been offered a new contract. Utter shite this season and that’s what frustrates me about Kelly and Foster leaving because they were consistently better than Fraser, who got a free pass simply because he was captain.
  18. I urge all my fellow stags to show our support for our under fire management team with an 8th minute applause tomorrow. WE ARRA PEEPUL!!
  19. Noticed it’s under 18s for a quid - assuming that’s for away fans too? Wee one’s first away game the day and i’m a sucker for a bargain.
