Don't disagree with what we need but I do think Jarrett has not had a decent run to try and establish himself. He is a good player and could fill that role but he comes in for one game, generally gets subbed or dropped back to the bench for the next game. He needs to build his confidence. I would like to see him have a run of three or four games on the trot before passing judgement.

This was the type of performance that we must expect from time to time. Our finishing is not clinical enough and we need another powerful striker for support. I was surprised to see Bruce favoured over Robson. We never got the understanding that Tommy has with Dom like the first game against Arbroath. As the season goes on we should improve but it will be a rollercoaster.

No idea what to expect from this game. No idea what to expect from our team. They have exceeded my expectation so far but the opposition has been awful. The one thing that has happened is that we have become a joy to watch and that we obviously have structure and skill. However we are a young team and consistency will be in short supply. I will be happy if we show progress in development and will be very satisfied with a share of the points.

This is the type of fixture where we generally fail miserably. Chance to go five points clear in the league against a struggling team. What can go wrong?? That said I will be disappointed if we cannot overcome the gremlins and will be extremely happy with another 2-1.

Not so. Season Ticket holders were prohibited from entering Centre Stand and padded seats were cordoned off elsewhere. I had many an argument with the jobsworths on that point.

That was no more than a training exercise. How the score was only 2-1 I will never know. Arbroath offered absolutely nothing. We continue to be wasteful with the final ball.
