Will need a couple of loan signings on top of what we already have. Cammy F and Big Sena done ok for us last season so a couple like them would be ideal.

Uncanny resemblance to last season. Us pipping EF into 4th place and QOS in play off place in championship. Just hope for a better outcome if it happens again.

Do you think many of these players are willing to spend up to 12 hours a day travelling to and from games in the far north / Fort William etc - possibly midweek matches too. They would have to be pretty dedicated to do that for a season or two.

Hopefully we can take care of our own game so we'll be keeping a close eye on this one. The winners will be in a really strong position, the losers and we'll be breathing right down your necks. A draw and hopefully we can take advantage and jump into third place on Tuesday night. Assuming we take care of our own business, of course.

Have said this to others. We are a striker away from being real contenders in this league. Tough game for the Mo tomorrow night but vital if we are to push for a top 4 spot. Our previous 2 games against Clyde have been pretty comfortable but they are bound to be on a high after a great result on Saturday. Will settle for a stuffy 1-0 away win.

Certainly not a classic today but Mo certainly deserved the win. Ridiculous goalkeeping to give away the penalty only redeemed minutes later with a great save from Rustys shot. Rusty looked a lot more interested today. Somebody should tell him that the ban on heading the ball is for under 12s though. Airdrie offered very little. If those guys are full time they earn an easy living . Got a bit nervy near the end when we sat deeper and deeper. Airdrie were punting in high balls but Matty and Dillon mopped up everything. North Calder went to the Mo for the day To watch Airdrieonians play. He seems quite irate When refused at the gate and then could not find his way.

Got to remember we got reduced to 10 men on the back of the penalty (which was then rescinded). Looking like a good old dog fight between us, you lot and the fifers for the play off places between now and the end of the season. Big game on Saturday.

Understatement of the season so far.

I'd be more concerned if we were 4 points off the relegation play offs rather than 4 points off the promotion play offs.

Without being smug about it, that's probably the easiest three points we've had this season. the late Sons goal made it appear much closer than it was. To cheer you up, I can't see Stranraer making up any ground on anyone and assuming Cove go up, I think whoever finishes 9th in our league will come through the play off.

Highlights

To be fair, he might be right. Unfortunately for you guys, at the wrong end of the table. As most have said, a very easy afternoon for the Mo and the Sons late goal made the scoreline much closer than it was. Could easily have been 4 or 5. CJs ma must have been selecting MOM today. Plenty of candidates for it. Webby, Lyons and Masson were excellent. Defence was solid but to be fair, Dumbarton never tested them. Happy with the 3 points. Free hit ar Falkirk next week. Nothing to lose.

Was going to put up a post writing off Dumbartons chances but they seem to be doing a good job of it themselves so I'll leave them to it. Weather could be the determining factor here.

Would like to have seen the penalty/non-penalty incidents.

Made real hard work of that. Had chances to put it out of sight but Peterheid kept coming back. God knows what big Lennox was doing at the first goal . Ball dipped a bit but should save that. They missed a couple of chances in the first half too. Hanging on at the end and thought we had blown it when the ref gave the penalty. Kudos to the lino for doing his job and there was no arguments from the Peterhead players. Glad to hear the full time whistle. We've played better and lost so it's good to take the hard earned points

I can see interest in this one has got the internet in melt down.

Hope you enjoy your visit to Montrose up until the minute you step outside the Legion. Despite the loss last week we apparently put up a great fight and were unlucky to lose. Peterheid have lost their talisman and I think will struggle without him. We're playing really well just now and full of confidence. Assume Blair Lyons will be back in the team and buzzing after his transfer. Cant see anything but a Mo win. Mo 2 Peterheid 0 (Hope I haven't jinxed it)
