  3. Outside of our striker, I think the CB's have been our most solid position this season. Most of the time they've done exactly what is required of them as championship CB's. The same cannot be said for a lot of other positions on the park, most especially at the fullback positions. If we start next season with Reading / McAllister as out first choices I'll be seething before a ball is kicked.
  4. The Musonda stuff is a very strange. He's been good for most of the games he has played this season. Irritated me last night that McAllister was getting praise from some folk around me for occasionally attempting a strong tackle, despite the fact he was consistently losing his man and being run ragged.
  5. Was thinking this yesterday. Clearly McAlear is just awful. Murdoch, Dempsey and Smith are all quite similar imo. As you say, I feel it limits our ability to control the game and take the game to opponents when we can't really adapt in the middle of the park.
  6. Aye I'll be happy to move on and think about next season in a couple weeks. Just a bit seething the now about how it ended. We should have a good budget to spend. A high finish is to be congratulated and we will undoubtedly get a good fee for Dipo. Our transfer business last summer was quite mixed overall, with a couple of excellent finds. Hopefully we can get it right more than we get it wrong in the summer.
  7. Happy for manager and players to show face in the pub, that is not the issue. Mathie off to the side looking a lot less into it all.
  8. Aye. I find it absolutely mental. Overall, it's been a relatively good season for Ayr (mostly due to one player). But there's a very strange bunch of our support that are happy to indulge in cult like behaviour for a man that masterminded an 8-0 loss over 180 minutes - as well as several other notable bottle jobs across the season. A total fucking riddy.

  10. Lee Bullen having a singsong with his adoring happy clappers immediately after we've been pumped 8-0 on aggregate. https://twitter.com/itzdrk/status/1662230351912087554?s=20
  11. That's an absolute fucking embarrassment. We've just lost 8-0. What a fucking riddy.
  12. "Well, it's been a great season, not the end we would have hoped for but thank you Lee for what has overall been a great year" ^Get your money on it now.
  13. A truly pathetic display from a bunch of largely pathetic shitebags. Colin Steven is a w**k. Most of the Partick posters on here are good c***s. Hope you all enjoyed your trip to the seaside. If it's Killie in the final, pump them please x
  14. Most of them can f**k off. So can Bullen. Pathetic stuff. Over 180 minutes we looked completely uninterested and entirely devoid of any ideas. Truly awful stuff. Queens Park away, Falkirk away, and these 2 games. We lucked out with Dipo but when it really mattered, time and again we were rightly pumped.
  15. We were absolutely rancid before the red card. It's a very poor decision and Aero is a wee p***k but it means f**k all other than it being a shame that it has happened in Dipo's last game for us. Get the vast majority of this lot out the door. Other than in Inverness, every occasion when it has really mattered this season, every time, we've been served up this kind of shite. Use the money we got for 2nd and the money from the Dipo sale and make a new team. Get all of these fullbacks in particular so far to f**k. Kinda hope there is some truth in the rumours Bullen is away. Best to just have a fresh start with some funds to spend.
  16. Still amazes me that so many jags fans walk over the wee green bridge and through the scheme when heading to Somerset Park from the town. Why would you choose that route?
  17. What an excellent, excellent thread this is.
  18. Lies. You consider Arbroath a suburb of Dundee? It's closer than Ayr is to Glasgow. We shall consider this matter closed. Thank you.
