  1. Saturday will require a rethink from Fossil McCall.

You have to go there with the mindset that it is a complete battle and no football will be played. Play your physical players and any pea hearted sand dancers (Leitch) should be discarded.

That free flowing The Bully Wee that destroyed us won't get the chance to play any football on Saturday. Who can kick and head it the furthest?

I fear for you in this circumstance. Are these boys prepared to go into the trenches for one another in that environment? Stranraer pitch is pretty poor as well and it could be a similar outcome on Saturday.

Good luck to The Bully Wee.

  2. Top man Gordon. I've felt we have been home and hosed for a while but we still have to go out and put it to bed.

Yesterday just showed again the mentality of this group, not that there was ever a doubt in my mind but to go out and win that battle yesterday shows the minerals of the players after such a dire performance last week.

It's almost a different sport on that surface. We just battled away and grafted all day and eventually got the goal our second half performance deserved. Delighted for Matty as he's went through a dry patch of late.

The back four and goalkeeper were outstanding as we have come to expect. DJ never had many saves to make but his handling and punching under pressure is something we shouldn't take for granted - he's a highly skilled operator at this level and we are lucky to have him.

Meechan, Jamieson, Buchanan, Bilham. Flawless really. Dealt with everything thrown their way. I expect that from the three senior pros to be honest but Kinlay Bilham baby - what a performance and season the lad is having. First year of senior football at this level and has barely put a foot wrong.

Football is coming home and I can't wait. It's going to be a special day for everyone connected with this club when it happens and these boys will go down as history makers.

Aye, and you always fade in the second half against teams, largely because Wedderburn becomes a passenger.

I can mind of a terrific game against Raith at Bayview. Down 1-0 at half time with Wedderburn doing the stuff he is good at.

After the break, he was breathing out of his arse as East Fife made him chase the ball.

    We won 2-1.

Loving the we'll definitely beat Bonnyrigg chat. 😄

We played you at Bayview a few weeks ago and Nat was in our midfield that ran over the top of you in the second half.

Utterly mental stuff here from Cosmic Joe.

  4. A very bizarre post about Nat and just poor analysis.

He has played 90 minutes pretty much every week (missed the odd game through suspension)for the runaway league leaders.

As for us in general there is absolutely no need to panic. That was only our third defeat of the season which is incredible really.

Cove and Kelty took the same bizarre pummelling in their runaway seasons so it's happened before and will happen again.

Nicky back next week will really settle us down we haven't had the old back four together for a good few weeks now and it's showing.

Jordan Allan today was everything we were missing in midweek. Ross Meechan just could not handle him. While 6-1 flattered us, and everything seemed to go in, there can be no argument about us deserving victory today. Sula was excellent and showed why he should've been starting midweek, Lyon acquitted himself very well too. But Allan was the one that made everything tick; I thought "here we go again" as his shot for the second goal hit the inside of the post, but he got the piece of luck he deserved and tucked away the rebound. He was immense today, along with so many of them.

This means nothing if we don't build on it, though. The Clyde backing - though (understandably) a bit reduced in number - was terrific today, even when we went behind. Hopefully this can be a turning point for players and fans and we can start to believe a bit.

White kit every week now, please.

Meechs will be having nightmares of Jordan Allan this evening.

It was a savage display. Never really rated him much until today but he had absolutely everything in his game today any defender would have struggled against him.

  6. That was wild.

I don't want to even mention our own deficiencies as that takes away from The Bully Wee who were absolutely fantastic today.

They absolutely rag dolled us and Jordan Allan put in the best opposition performance of the season. Rennies goal even gave me a slight semi.

Enjoy your night. Its been a shite time for a loyal band of fans days like that make it all worth it.

A real low point for us but hopefully a very large wake up call moving forward.

Spot on. "I pay my money like everyone else !!11111!1!11!1!1!!" merchants seem to be unable to grasp this, though.

The biggest mouth breathers that follow football at any level are the "ah pay ma money" bigrade. It's as though the money has been forced out of their pocket as they go foaming at the mouth on their latest, incoherent rant.

Usually brain dead, oxygen thieves. Not what THE BULLY WEE need in their time of crisis that's for sure.

Are serious questions not being asked about McCall?

Considering the level of player he has as it disposal just now every time its a must win game his team has lost.

Perhaps his time as a manager is up.

I've touched on it before but the guy is auld chippy paper.

Some of the starting teams he has been putting out there are head scratching to say the least.

I also heard the post match audio after Forfar he as good as said the replacements for Allan and Howie were shit and not up to standard. Which will be true but you maybe want to keep all the lads onside when you are trying to galvanise a great escape.

  9. There's no point even suggesting we will have a fully fit squad anymore. Seems to be a few of the lads carrying injuries from game to game or picking things up in training but if we had a full quota then I would go back to the usual team and formation.

Jacobs has been brilliant for us but I just don't feel the balance is quite right in there with the three of them. We are a far better team with the usual axis and Yates in the ten.

    And also. The Bully Wee.

  10. I genuinely feel sorry for the fans following your horrible little football club. Rotten from top to bottom and just going through the motions on and off the park.

A unique feeling when you are in a play off spot but you have absolutely no hope of going up under this stewardship.

  11. Excellent point that considering Elgin should have been out of sight by half time. These lads just bite down on the gum shield though and grit it out by the latter stages of the game again we were powering on for the three points - the fittest team in the league there's no doubt.

Elgin first half were as good as any team this season. High intensity and really intelligent football. They absolutely rag dolled us all over the park. The only issue with that though is if isn't possible to do that for 90 minutes and after about an hour we took over.

As you would expect we struggled without Nicky and Meeks but what an effort from the boys. By the end of the game we had a back four including Ky at right back who was probably among our best players with Kinlay Bilham who I though was excellent.

Great day out and always nice to see the chasing jobbers do their weekly job. Cheers lads.
