  1. A lot is being made of Elgin's home record, and rightly so, but let's not forget our away record is sensational and better than their home record.

If we do the things we do well then we will win the game but everyone connected with us knows this is a tough game in store.

Hale has been a revelation at Elgin and its nice to see an unheralded name come in to the league and make an impact as opposed to the same auld dinosaurs.

I'll go for a dramatic 3-2. A late Adam Brown winner after a first half hat-trick from Matty Aitken.

I know he won the league but his win rate with both East Fife and QOS is about the same as Stevie Farrells with Dumbarton. I'm not saying that he isn't half decent just that before this season I didn't see anything outstanding about him

Win percentage means absolutely nothing if you are putting silverware in the cabinet at the end of the season. Which he will have done twice after this season.

You'll struggle to find a manager in Scotland who hasn't struggled at one time or another (Brendan Rodgers the top example) so if you are looking for some kind of polished god in this country you aren't going to find it I'm afraid.

Genuinely struggling to see what you consider outstanding attributes at this level or an example of a truly outstanding manager as you would term it.

Naysmith is as good as it gets for this level of football.

While Naysmith is doing well this season I'm not sure where this idea that he is a very good manager has come from. His record with East Fife and QOS was certainly nothing special.

Won the league at East Fife mate.

I'd assume you weren't aware of that. To say winning a league with a modest budget is nothing special seems a bit silly.

He's about to add another league win. He's maybe not Pep but he certainly knows his onions round these parts more than most.

2-0 down at half time against Tranent, maybe it's not quite all over at the top of the league...

Kennedy off to the sin bin as well for arguing with the ref after the first goal.

The most insecure man in Scottish football doesn't like it when not going his way.

Only way to react to this setback is GET MARE PLAYERS IN!

wtf is Parry doing for the second goal? Watching him attempt to get back his like watching the highlights in slow motion.

That was utterly pathetic from Parry.

If there was a fish supper on the goal line he would have been there in a flash.

    Looks in awful shape.

Youre right, objects shouldn’t be thrown on the pitch.

but trying to justify fans being attacked with weapons because “there was an edge to the game” and fans had been drinking pre-match is a joke.

I think your dislike for Clyde as a club is clouding your judgement on this one.

No one should be attacked with weapons I completely agree. I never justified that part that's the act of a coward. I'm merely stating it takes two to tango and there will have been wallopers on both sides as shown by the need to use golf clubs and throwing objects on the park. Both could have devastating consequences.

I don't dislike Clyde as a club so certainly no clouding of judgement. I pity them if anything and really want them to beat EK in the play off.

There’s no justification for a group of folk getting golf clubs out a van to attack people, it’s complete thuggery.

People getting wound up and frustrated when conceding a goal, especially in our situation, happens every week.

Frustration at conceding goals has no justification for throwing objects at players though does it? That surely doesn't happen every week?

If that's normal behaviour I think people should question if football is for them.

If anyone really believes someone has loaded his van in the morning to take to the football to purposely attack Clyde fans then I question their sanity.

There's clearly been an edge to the day/game and there will be blame on both sides let's not kid on all Clyde fans have turned up and behaved impeccably on the day after being on the swally for 5-6 hours pre game.

Let's live in the real world lads.

  8. Also let's not begin to pretend a section of the Clyde support will be the victim in all of this. You don't just get set about with golf clubs for being shrinking violets and minding yer Ps and Qs.

You can clearly see some of them absolutely out their skull when that Stranraer first goal goes in and something being thrown towards the Stranraer players which is particularly scumbag behaviour.

Easy to say from ur high horse winning most weeks atm

I assume from that you are a child so will cut you some slack.

I do hope you pump EK in the play off tbf if that's any consolation as they are a horrible little outfit.

You will fully deserve that for supporting your team.

  10. Surely McCall should be under more scrutiny from the fans than he is? He really strikes me as a fossil who's completely past it.

That team selection for Clyde today doesn't make a kick of sense. Surely can't go to the bother of improving on the muck that was there before and then benching Kabia, Leitch and McGinn? Where was the keeper?

He's been well backed, more than any other manager in the league in January, and is showing no signs of having a clue what he's doing in my opinion.

The draw was the correct result. We dominated  the 1st  half possession  wise  and deservedly equalised while Stenny were better in the 2nd and seemed much  fitter  than us as the game came to  a close.

Much  more heart  and fight in the team  today  and was interesting to  see Paul Thomson in the dug-out. Presumably he stayed on for   an  extra game to help the  new team out which  is  to his credit. Two weak links today were Schiavone  & Shepherd who  both  contributed very little.

Shout out   to the referee who  was awful for  both teams  and  the stand-side  linesman who was clueless.

I forgot about the officials. Absolutely atrocious for both teams.

All three officials completely out of their depth and no understanding of the game. It really does get worse every week to the point you can only laugh about it.

What's up with Bucky and Taylor? Not made the team sheet.

Both injured. Bucky will be back next week and Ross probably the week after I believe.

Good point for us today in the end considering the other results and that was probably the correct result.

We were well on top in the second half without creating enough chances to justify the three points. Our fitness really showed in that second half I felt we ran over the top of their midfield but unfortunately our flair players just weren't on it today as they usually are.

East Fife were similar in the first half they probably had the better of it without creating enough. Really lovely goal with the slide rule pass and finish by Austin.

A real moment of quality but from there on Austin just wanted to act like a big fanny which was to the detriment of his team. Pushing the head into Bilham among 3 or 4 embarrassing dives he was lucky to still be on the park by the end.

Meechan and Jamieson were first class today, Meechs deserves a lot of praise since he's came back into the team he's been a real leader for us.

Kinlay Bilham had another solid afternoon but further forward we just didn't click.

Aitken baffled away all day to his credit but we just couldn't get enough bodies or quality in and around him.

12 games to go. We keep pushing.
