  1. I did see one which said ‘unlimited tasting’ but it turned out to be the most blatant case of fraudulent advertising since my suit against the film ‘The never ending story’
  2. ‘Ive had practice counting sheep’ britnat cringe level exceeded.
  3. Yep totally agree, whilst the BNP/UKIP political capital has been limited its allowed the tories to shift hard right and still appear somewhat moderate thus normalising whats happening.
  4. And by drinks well the whisky wasn’t full measures and the champagne was for a toast and post my wedding ceremony, so nah i’m not a drinker. I used to drink very regularly but stopped when I was 21.
  5. Ive had say 5 drinks in the last ten years, but on the whole no I dont drink generally.
  6. I dont drink alcohol, but even I know you’re talking shite, on the very rare occasion I do a distillery tour or have a family celebration a glass of good champagne or a really good single malt is absolutely excellent.
  7. Yep, they went from political obscurity to actually capturing council seats following Griffin appearing on question time, those who don’t get this are deluded. When you put something on the mainstream media you are introducing it as a mainstream political idea to a cross section of society. The shift to the right in this country is absolutely obvious and the BBC are championing it.
  8. Landed gentry keen to retain membership of body which made them rich shocker lol.
  9. Ive said this before, those on the far right of the conservative party are absolutely loving it right now, getting pushed towards a delightful little englander world of getting rid of immigrants and trading jam with the colonies. Its fucking frightening that people dont seem to either care or realise that this is happening, allowing Farage, Robinson et al airtime on the BBC brings their views into the mainstream.
  10. That would be the same BMA that’s actively calling for more university places for medicine aye?
  11. Yes lets put our trust in a combination of Blairites and Tories, that worked very well with the vow.
  12. What do you consider a good song? Big girls by Mika?
  13. Do people think that crime is only investigated if the polis put it on facebook! Some amount of nosey b*****ds on that ‘i phoned to make my statement and there was no one’ type pish, aye hen they’ll drop everything because you saw something on facebook.
  14. I like Bohemian Rhapsody but i’ve always thought of it as a modern interpretation of a classical piece with different movements etc. Id agree though that its no where near Queens best song, Who wants to live forever is my stand out, largely because Freddy pretty much knew he was dying when he wrote it. Dont stop me now is just a great feel good song too!
  15. Yeh hunners of songs just like I am the walrus and Sgt Peppers kicking about. Not to mention Blackbird with its simple chord progression.
  16. Victim impact statements are more about families expressing their feelings about the loss of their loved one etc, its a way of including the victim in the legal process and giving them a voice. Quite often prosecutors will take a guilty plea for a lesser crime and victims feel cheated that such a traumatic incident is downgraded. If VIS as part of the legal process give closure, relief, a chance to be heard or express the pain in loss of a loved one or as a victim then surely thats something that’s got to be encouraged. Imagine the strength of a person/child coming forward about serious domestic abuse/sexual abuse and you tell them ‘oh sorry we dont want to know how this incident impacted on you’?
  17. If anyone’s spending any money in a Ralph Lauren outlet in the states drop me a DM and i’ll send you a 30%/25% off voucher, i get them via email as im there a couple times a year, you take the discount off pretty much everything including clearance.
  18. She quite clearly did win the popular vote which was my point. I dont understand you’re shtick, are you just aggressive to everyone who challenges you? Im sure that wins over many to your cause.
  19. I saw plenty of polls predicting a close election but Clinton winning, which due to the electoral college/popular vote discrepancy she did win so the sampling would actually have been pretty spot on really, just the interpretation of the results.
  20. Dont you claim to have a masters in politics? Pep, do you know how sampling works? Look I support Scottish and Catalan independence but based on polls and indeed actual elections/referenda its clear we are in the minority. Please stop being so aggressive to folks who disagree with you? It just contributes to the ‘cybernat’ label that reflects badly on all of us!
  21. I know of only one poster on here who would want it at any cost. Its quite obviously in Scotlands interest, thats why I want it, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t. Ask yourself this, why is London so keen to continue a union with a country that it apparently gives so much to and receives so little back...? Ive genuinely never had an answer to that question from a British nationalist.
