  1. In terms of facilities and community engagement I cant think of any club which can beat Spartans in the junior game? Then lets consider other LL grounds, Kelty’s is cracking, again show me a better junior ground? Broadwood (ok some purists may not like it but its a great facility). Lets also consider the other grounds via groundshare in the LL, Falkirk stadium and Alloa, two cracking facilities, again what junior ground is superior? Gretnas ground also excellent. Im baffled anyone would try argue against your point.
  2. Im away last fortnight in Sept, always try to time it for last rays game. Do you ever go to Clearwater beach? Really enjoy a walk about there and stroll on the beach, im not a sit on the beach person but I like a stroll there. Glad to hear youre a fan of WP, im the same only things I do on Idrive are the outlets. Really like the atmosphere at UCF always made to feel really welcome! Where do you stay? We have been to the Providence resort villas last year, returning this, emerald islands and windsor palms a few times each and then just in condos and hotels in LBV etc. Would quite like to stay for some of a holiday in Disney when the wee man is walking. You mentioned you liked that music festival, keep an eye out for whos coming to the Tampa state fairgrounds, have seen some brilliant bands there. Daytona speedway is about 2hrs away too and if theres something on its a sight to see, huuuge stands. Discovered a wee place at Champions gate called ‘First Watch’ that specialises in breakfast stuff, had some good food there. Theres a similarly good breakfast place called Kekes who have one in WP and one just at Millenia. Quite like Duffys sports bar in Millenia too, we tend to go for baseball post season games we wanna watch, 2for1 drinks and decent food, not too touristy either because its away from idrive. Have heard gatorland is a really fun place to visist but haven’t been myself.
  3. Check out the saturday night rodeo at Westgate River Ranch, bout 1.5hr south of Orlando. Or see if the silverspurs rodeo is on when you’re there, just google, full of rednecks but a fun and cheap night. When are you going? If its before mid sept- Check out a baseball game, Tampa Bay (tickets vary from $10-200 on the game and location- a good idea if you’ve got rain forecast as its in a dome, 1.5 hour drive) in the Major leagues or for a cheap night out, check out the Florida Fire Frogs/Lakeland Flying Tigers/Tampa Yankees all within 2hrs of Orlando, generally about $5-10 a ticket. If its sept-oct- check out a yank football game? Ive mentioned the ucf football games here, they’re the top team in the area etc and tickets go cheap. Celebration is nice to stroll about, you can hire a bike etc and go around the lakes (really beautiful wee town and scenery) etc. They have loads of events on all the time, just depends when you’re there. Winter Park farmers market on a saturday is decent, just for a wee stroll in the morning, WP is quite a nice wee place to explore. The zoo at Sanford is quite cool, they have rhinos, giraffes, poisonous snakes, bears etc and theres a splash area for kids, its quite a small zoo but a great day out.
  4. So scrap the LL and put the juniors in the level above because you think other clubs are better but have absolutely nothing to back it up? Look the junior teams absolutely fucked their chances with the pyramid and LL turning their noses up when invited, yes invited to apply. But now all of a sudden its not looking too rosey for the SJFA we should bend over backwards and chuck teams out the LL because some junior fans think their team is better with absolutely nothing to qualify this other than crowd wanking and one off cup matches.
  5. That Armadale guy is literally the only person I think would do a worse job than TJ.
  6. Underhand tactics by the EOS? Give it a rest. You paint the EOSL folks to be like a shoal of sirens luring the unwitting junior clubs to their doom.
  7. If you mean Clydebank its because there is no discernible WOSL for them to join, this is the league which other clubs from the West like EK, Cumbernauld Colts, BSC would be relegated to, as such theres a precedent.
  8. Perhaps some of those clubs struggle because junior football for all its chaos just doesnt appeal to some? I think its more about sustainable opportunity than straight up cash!
  9. JC perhaps you’ll be the first to tell us what these wrong reasons are?
  10. Clydebank applied and have been accepted, the difference between them and tayside clubs being there was no league in the pyramid within the LL /HL boundary.
  11. Was a wee bit more sinister than that im led to believe.
  12. Never happen, the sjfa will not take tier 5 the wheels are already in motion for an independent wosl outside the sjfa at a level beyond the ‘work’ of the sjfa.
  13. Another ardent junior poster making nazi references, did you all go the Isa Goudie school of how to win friends and influence people?
  14. Another Nazi comparison headsgone from the no camp here. Its cringey to think that Daleboy is the voice of his team isn’t it?
  15. A fair way to do it would be 1st eosl vs 2nd sosl and 1st sosl vs 2nd eosl in a play off!
  16. Apparently theres also twins Benson and Hedges, Strawberries and Champagne and triplets Ajay Bjay and Cjay.
  17. My wifes friend is a social worker in Blackpool, theres a kid from that area called ‘Rocket Fifa’ as first and middle name.
  18. Glenafton took 25 fans to an away game two weeks ago, about 5 paid in, your statement above is somewhat diminished.
  19. Yes, well Glenafton brought about 25 people to their last away league game, most of those got in with a committee pass, so if you’re gonna measure success based on one off crowds keep that one in mind. How is that an enticing argument to stay junior when the supposed ‘big ayrshire giants’ can’t even bring a crowd? I wouldnt call either of those clubs more successful, Edinburgh got into the SFL from the LL so in my opinion thats far more successful than winning a regional league or sponsor-less junior cup. I personally couldnt care less if the south ayrshire triplets find the pyramid unappealing, I hope they stay junior and don’t join, Buffs, Beith and Ladeside would be a better addition to any WOSL, especially with the crowds they bring. I love how the pyramid teams in your opinion has to ‘win over/appeal to’ the so called ‘big ayrshire clubs’ when really apart from Talbot none bring a decent travelling support except when the village clears out for one cup final and basically offer nothing other than a trip to the land that hope goes to die.
  20. Who are these ‘big guns’ because after saying no to the pyramid Talbot, Cumnock and Glenafton look like anything but ‘big guns’ to me. If you mean Buffs, Beith and Kilbirnie fair dos.
  21. Certainly makes the decision on travelling to Armadale as a punter easier to make.
