  1. No im genuinely wondering if that breaks age discrimination laws? Im not too clued up on consumer law but looking at the theory behind age discrimination laws then surely it is?
  2. Is it legal to charge someone who qualifies for a lower price ticket a premium? Isnt that some kind of discriminatory action?
  3. Pretty sure that can be contested, ie a doctor/social work assessment saying its in their best interests overrides the profiteering arses. I’ve seen people rip their families apart over these inheritance things, my old man has been ill all my life, genuinely all i want is for him to go on as long as he can because no amount of money would comfort me from his loss, my best mate, my wee boys best mate, cant imagine life without him. Its just my brother and I, im relatively comfortable, so probably just put the money away for the grandkids. Its more the sentimental things id like to have in the house. The wifes parents well the genetics mean the dragon beast will likely live on to an old age so there probably wont be anything, again, it doesnt really matter? If theres something for my wee boy great, but we’d rather they all just spent their money and had comfortable retirements. My mum worked her backside off for us and i try to explain to her that we’d rather she just enjoyed a really good retirement than try and leave stuff that no ones asking for.
  4. Is her dad Michael Fagan? Think the other one is Zippy?
  5. Thing is, the snp have disappeared up their own arse, labour are tory lite, the landscape is there for an actual left of centre party to make ground. I genuinely worry about what kind of world my wee boy will inherit because things are just going backwards.
  6. Go to Brooklyn. Given its yer MIL’s first time in the states let her go do a wee spree in Macy’s? Look at some of the pizza tours (i mean if you like pizza). Some of the tv shows and rehearsals give out free tickets and can be a good laugh. Do the staten island ferry, what about a Yankees or Mets game depending on the date, new york sports fans tend to be glory hunters so plenty tickets when they arent on a run.
  7. Its a labour party in name only, they are beholden to business leaders and academics who obsess over things that people struggling to keep the lights on dont care about. Labour has shifted economically to the right and become irrelevant in many other areas.
  8. Cant just be me that thinks its funny that the Tory party new definition of an extremist group could be arguably applied to erm them.
  9. Not the people who run Talbot, but fans (however im sure there will be plenty that do fancy going up) on here talking about how they’d want them to throw the play off and the like. Have seen plenty fans from other clubs post about not fancying going up too.
  10. No i dont think the actual people who run the club would either, but the fact that seems to be what fans want is absolutely incredible. Why even join the wosl if you were happy in the juniors?
  11. The fact there are people seriously wanting their team to throw a playoff game is complete tin pot shite.
  12. That is what’s known in the industry as a ‘Telt’.
  13. Mathematically impossible. But id settle for 10 years.
  14. 4:1 bankies, Callum Graham has finally cracked it!
  15. I cant lie i think its really funny how wound up you are getting about all of this.
  16. See if folk hate us as much as they go on about on this forum, why tf are they so bothered if we play in the sjfa cup or not? Who cares? Our fans dont want the club we own to compete in the sjfa cup, simple as that, some will want this because they dont like the sjfa, some will see it as something thats not in the financial interest of the club, some will see it as unnecessary games in an already long season. Our fans all have different views and opinions on things, my own view isnt that we are ‘better’ or ‘look down on’ the sjfa, just simply not something i want my club to be involved in, again if people want their clubs to compete then i hope they have a brilliant time doing so and stop worrying about other clubs priorities.
  17. But apparently because Clydebank have decided they dont want to be involved with the sjfa we’re the bad guys?lol. Cmon man.
  18. Its not beneath us, we just dont want to play in it. See the same way some people on here go ‘oh id hate to see my team promoted into the Lowland League’ well our fans have the right to not want our club to play in a voluntary cup which may actually cost us money to take part in. We are constantly reminded on here that we arent in the club with all the other ‘traditional’ teams yet we are sneered at when we go ‘ok we wont be in your club then, thanks’. We had some good times in the juniors and some very bad times, I for one am glad we had the time there we did and wish anyone who wants to remain a member of the sjfa all the very best. I really hope the teams who compete have a great time doing so and fill the final with fans.
  19. Im sorry but ive known Grace and Matt for over 20 years, two people who love football, who are really decent people, with the community at their heart and imo excellent administrators of a football club. Your wee attacks are actually ridiculous. I dont know what your actual problem with them is, because any attempt to rationalise it on here so far has been utterly pathetic.
  20. I for one am shocked, if only there were signs.
  21. I agree Scotland is becoming an increasingly shite place to live.
