  1. The minute we do it of course and get pressed fans shout for players to get the ball booted forward
  2. I can recall several games when we were playing the ball out from the back this season. And Edinburgh University played themselves into trouble doing just that whilst Celtic weren’t that good at it for first 15 minutes
  3. Not aware that 6 b teams are mooted as far as I have seen it is a league that can have B teams in it - but no number specified. Team 52 would supplant team 42 in 4 way agreement which would not require any amendment
  4. You are looking at it through rose coloured specs. There was very little between EK and Cowden in the play offs but if anything Cowden just edged it. Cowden of course missed a penalty at K Park but it was a game of few real chances. The 2nd leg Cowden could have had 3 goals in the early stages and then game evened out. Cowden had no special loan arrangements with Hearts or anyone else. Cove was a different matter they were better than us but we won by battling hard and their own self destruction - v Bonnyrigg there was no real fight against a team that were nowhere near as good as Cove
  5. This is the weakest argument against the B teams / it is pretty certain that young players do benefit from this
  6. Couple of comments the previous successful youth set up was funded with the help of good income from the stock cars and SFA grants - neither exist any more. Secondly the directors are also all volunteers and fans.
  7. The cost of a claim (appeal) is £125 for Lowland League clubs. The referee’s report nowadays only detail the category of offence and it states that the sending off offence was Violent Conduct.
  8. He had suffered a bad injury and that hampered him. He was not then playing regularly and Covid hit. He was offered a contract renewal but advised he thought it better to move on. He was looking to join te Haws - to help him at that point in his career after his injury we did not seek a fee.
  9. But there have been three times already when we had no fixtures at all scheduled for periods of 3 weeks or more
  10. The club purchased its own pitch covers as far as I can recall
  11. 24/7/52 that’s the real football world I’m afraid
  12. But you seized on it and amplified and exaggerated it. That is why I responded once it was no longer a random comment. Not bothered about criticism of me or my peers - but if you want to delude yourself about some Rangers influence fill your boots. A complete red herring. Cuckold - that’s an innovative bit of abuse at least. Have a good Xmas
  13. Hardly - I don’t comment too much but don’t like made up stories
  14. Because we are in the Lowland League not the Championship or even L1 or 2
  15. There were 3 changes from Saturday’s team. Armstrong and Sinclair were missing. Davidson was captain. We had 3 great chances but didn’t take them. Mistakes for at least 2 of the goals conceded
  16. There was a virus hit the club and we had to cancel training on Thursday. Armstrong and Davidson were unable to play and 2 or 3 others weren’t 100%. The one match suspension for cautions for three players all kick in 14 days after their 5th caution. If we had had games every Saturday they would not all have been out for the same match
  17. People from Northern Ireland are indeed British in terms of nationality
  18. Hey it’s not up to me to do your job for you - you want something you do the hard yards. I’m not all fired up about this and I am happy to be both a Scot and British and European for that matter - without being nationalistic about it
  19. Not a UK Nat but actually someone open to sensible persuasion. Not convinced by Scot Nats - no time for Ross or Sunak. Sarwar made no impression on me - don’t mind Starmer but maybe that’s because I am probably a left of centre liberal.
  20. Your ranting again - not persuading me or anyone else
