  1. No, it doesn't if you read my post... Anyway, the most likely thing is that the stuff you are posting is completely made up.
  2. So where is there any genuine criticism towards the EOS that they didn't take well? I only see some sour grapes from juniors on here which isn't coming from any actual clubs that switched...
  3. Even if there is any truth in what you are saying (which is very unlikely), these will have been people who were against their club moving to the EOS in the first place, but there is nae chance they were voicing their club's positions.
  4. Also, during the season I read loads of people claiming various teams wanted to move back for next season. Not a single team has done so, yet 2 more teams moved the other way. So instead they're making up this stuff now.
  5. Getting worried about some people posting some made up rubbish on here????
  6. If you come up with completely made up rubbish like that, you can expect such responses...
  7. The Scottish Cup place goes to the East Region champions, so that will be the winners of the north v south champions play-off.
  8. An absolutely awful decision to regionalise. The north super league looks half decent, but the rest just looks awful and unattractive. With a net gain of 2 clubs, it would make far more sense to just keep the same format, but with 14 teams in the Superleague. Relegate the bottom 2 & promote the top 2 of each of the 2 premier leagues.
  9. Not when they aren't licensed though...
  10. Why don't you pop round? Plenty of people there would love to see you.
  11. Once the west are properly into the pyramid, I think the SoSFL would be better off feeding into a west tier 6 league. No disrespect to the SoSFL, but the standard there is much lower and with them being a primarily D&G league they cover too small of an area to be a LL feeder imo. Even though you have a point re. Dalbeattie & Gretna, dropping in the SoSFL could also be harmful to them. You guys are dropping into a strong league with plenty of well supported teams. That gives you the chance to build in the EoSFL and hopefully for you challenge there in the near future. You can say that Dalbeattie & Gretna "just need to beat the EoSFL winners". However, if you play much weaker opposition all season, having to perform in one tie against stronger opposition can be more difficult having hardly been tested throughout the season. Also, if it fails, being in the SoSFL for the longer term will definitely be more damaging to ambitious clubs than being in the EoSFL.
  12. Personally, I'd love to see Broughty apply for a license as it would properly test the system. They can't be knocked back on the "pyramid commitment" part of it as there is no pyramid league in the Tayside area for them to go to. Scottish cup entry every year would definitely be beneficial for the club.
  13. I fully agree that a merger between the EOS and ERJFA is desirable, but a boundary shift is simply outwith the scope of the PWG. It's the PGB who have to agree with this, including the SPFL. With Lochee as my local team, I definitely want a solution for all clubs, including the Tayside ones. But geographically, having the boundary any further north makes no sense. I think there should be a merger between south of Tay ERJFA & EOS, just like there should be one between north of Tay ERJFA & NRJFA. From here to north region clubs are generally shorter trips anyway than to West Lothian, especially now the roads around Aberdeen have improved.
  14. Looking good, I should go back there again.
  15. Whitehill were obviously very poor this season. But looking at recent season, this poor season was pretty much an exception. If they can regroup themselves, they should be able to be a decent EOS Premier side. They've made a few decent signings already.
  16. For Jeanfield, you can also take a taxi from the ground back to the station. Only a short drive so it shouldn't be too expensive and you'll definitely get to Edinburgh before 20.00.
  17. For Jeanfield bus 8 or 9 from the centre to Jeanfield. I've done it before, straightforward connection.
  18. If the byes for a few HL/LL/Championship clubs get removed so all teams in those divisions start at the same round, there will be 60 clubs in round 1. That's 17 HL, 16 LL and 27 "others", which would fit absolutely perfectly.
  19. Lots of new teams for you guys to visit. Have you played any of them competitively before?
  20. If I remember it correctly, we only found out LTHV were awarded a license when they were omitted from the Alex Jack Cup draw.
  21. Class statement from them. Good luck to WW for next season. With some of the recent signings they should be a decent EOS Premier side.
  22. This tweet makes pretty clear that they have been told yes, I stand corrected!
  23. Just to be pedantic: it's not official until the LL have confirmed it (although we all know it will happen).
  24. Same for Jeanfield Swifts, so that makes a total of 27 clubs outside the top 5 tiers in the Scottish Cup. If there is no change to the format, that will mean that only 1 of those will get a bye. The only clubs ineligible for a bye are Auchinleck Talbot, Lochee United, Camelon Juniors and Colville Park.
  25. Both clubs have always been clear that they were blaming the SFA for this mess and not the other club. In the end, both were put into uncertainty through no fault of their own.
