  1. The ball is in the SJFA's corner though. Nobody objects to the west joining the pyramid. All the SJFA need to do is allow that to happen and drop the unreasonable demand of west & east coming in together or not at all. This is why the 3 SJFA regions should be represented on the PWG and not the SJFA as a whole. All 3 have different challenges / wishes and the west is by far the easiest of the 3 in this process.
  2. Links to a certain club in Birmingham by any chance?
  3. The referee was horrible, but it's quite an achievement to Hibs it in a way even Hibs won't manage themselves.
  4. What a fucking shite ref... A 3-0 lead should never have been given away, but referees have also really cost Scotland, in all 3 games.
  5. There is pretty much no pyramid chat in this thread, the main subject of discussion now is the new structure, which I think was an absolutely awful decision. Is that an "anti junior" view too now?
  6. There are 8 teams in the North PL.
  7. Looks good, really impressive what they're doing there. They're definitely on my list of clubs I want to visit next season.
  8. Yep, but they rarely give permission. I remember a case with German side Alemannia Aachen who are right on the Dutch/German border and got into Europe a while ago as cup runners-up whilst a 2nd tier side. Their own ground wasn't suitable and they asked to play at Roda JC, just on the other side of the border only some 8 miles away and about a 10 minute drive. The Dutch local authorities gave permission for the games being played there, but UEFA refused permission simply based on the fact there were German grounds available (despite them being much further away) and they ended up having to play in Cologne instead, over an hour's drive away.
  9. UEFA rules dictate that a club can't play a home game in another country, unless UEFA have banned games from being played in that country (like they have done with Israel in the past due to security issues). Edit: yes, I know most of Chester's ground is in Wales, but the club playing in it are registered as English and that's what counts.
  10. Shelley Kerr has been clear about her ambitions recently and I do expect that she becomes a manager in men's football one day. But she will be realistic enough to not expect to walk straight into the national team's job. She'll probably be happy enough to start at a lower division club to prove herself.
  11. You were the one bringing up people hate him because he is protestant. Literally nobody on this thread made any comment about his religion...
  12. A friend of mine who has also been there told last night me it's a great place to go to. I'll go there that day.
  13. I'll probably go from Edinburgh via Bonnyrigg, seems the most sensible. Cheers.
  14. The problem now is that the SFA and/or SPFL will probably see this as a challenge to come up with a location for a cup draw that's even more ludicrous.
  15. The draw for the first round of the English League Cup will be held in a Morrison's supermarket...
  16. Is the WW ground easy to get to by public transport? I'm thinking of going to the tournament with WW, Bonnyrigg & Leith. Also, is there a bar at the ground and/or any decent pubs nearby?
  17. I wonder which games he goes to then... I've heard it discussed plenty of times when going to junior matches. Regardless whether comments on the pyramid were positive or negative, there have been comments either way regularly. Obviously most of the games I went to were in the east, but at least at 2 games in Ayrshire I heard people talking about it as well.
  18. Not to sure if I'm honest mate. Details I got was Stirling uni I've arranged it through their assistant manager David Nicholls I guess it will be then, cheers.
  19. JC1, is your PSF against Peterhead at the same ground where Stirling Uni EOS play their home games?
