  1. Only a few days now to the big game. Not reading much confidence from Rovers' fans... United not in great form but still picking up points. I don't think this is a decider but it could be a turning point. Raith win and they could get a boost and we could stumble...draw and it's as you were. If we win, we're in a strong position but our two games at Cappielow are looking harder with every week that goes by. United line up will be something like this... Walton Grimshaw Graham Holt McMann Sibbald Docherty Watt Wothersoon Middleton Moult Prediction - Raith 1 DUFC 3
  2. Queens. one for the wish list. Been to Hampden loads but never to see a QP game and experience the local hostelries Partick. The old stand was terrible the last time I was there. Again, usually in the car on on supporters bus. Glasgow though so definitely another real away day for the wish list Raith. Good away stand. Trains were off for our last game so ended up driving. Gutted to miss the pub crawl from the station. Inverness. Only driven past. Would like to take the train up one day For the journey, not the destination Dundee Utd. Home for me but don't often make a day of it. Eastward-bound pub crawl is a good laugh but out of the way for real away fans. Would rather have a home-away day here than any of the following. Arbroath. Terrible ground, too small for the romance of an old fashioned terrace to be an attraction. Ayr. Terrible ground again from a spectator's point of view. Never been around the pubs so can't comment on that element. Morton. Only went once for the last game of the 95/96 season. No desire to return Airdrie. Only visit for a midweek cup game vs Queens Park. That's all I have to say
  3. It's a big game right enough but not sure it needs two threads
  4. Had a nice restful weekend Thank you
  5. Well that's a fcking great result. We played totally shite but the BBC commentator was exaggerating a bit when he said ICT were dominant. Neither team deserved to win as Goodwin said. Hope to f**k we get Gallagher, Docherty and Moult fully fit for the run in
  6. No, the question is which players have had more spells at one club than the other. E.g Billy Dodds - 1 at Dens, 2 at Tannadice.
  7. This thread would quite interesting if I knew who half the posters supported. For United, we've been better than I expected but I think that's mostly down to the standard of the rest of the league. I think we'll win the league but not as confident as I was due to Raith's excellent run..I don't agree that we'll splash the cash. I just think we'll keep our form up and Raith will gradually fall away.
  8. I was gutted when the fixtures were announced and this was so close to Christmas, and then moved to Friday night. I always hoped we'd draw QP at Hampden in one of the cups when we were going through the "Hampden Hoodoo", just for a decent chance to win a game at that Fkng stadium and a good Saturday away day. Hopefully, I'll manage the game in April Prediction scrappy 1-nil win for United.
  9. I agree with your point on luck. You make your own. However, the chances that this keeps happening are pretty slim. You'll probably just start scoring earlier.
  10. We're still undefeated in the league. Our two cup defeats seem to have affected the fans' confidence but I don't think the players will have been too bothered. RR's late goals are a bit of a punch in the gut but hopefully being knocked off the top acts as extra motivation for United. Score draw or narrow home win. Nothing is decided in December when it's this tight...
  11. I seem to remember Andy Smith playing a significant part in one or both of those games. I used to hate him as a player. Met his sister through work...never mentioned that I thought her brother was a jug-eared cnt!
  12. Hopefully, we can put Paton and Campbell's Fifers to the sword.
  13. Duncan Ferguson is a bit of a legend in my eyes. Loved his time at United and his brief spell at Rangers aside, I enjoyed watching him play for Everton and Newcastle. Shame he fell out with the SFA and didn't play more for Scotland. Not sure about him as a coach but hope he does well for ICT. Obviously not on Saturday though. For what it's worth, I think we'll win fairly comfortably. 3-0 United.
  14. I know they're generally pretty strange but why the fuk are there BNBs posting on here?
  15. There must have been about half a dozen occasions v Raith when I had my heart in my mouth as they fired the ball toward goal. Walton scooped up every single one with zero fuss. Birighitti would've spilled at least one of them in those conditions, likely resulting in a goal against.
