  1. The opposite. Rudd is saying there are other options than May's deal and No Deal. It looks to me like anything other than those two options requires a change of PM though.
  2. I was going to take the quiz then I saw they had Obama to the left of Evo Morales. The "reader funded" Guardian is hilarious.
  3. https://streamable.com/86w7z A video of some offences which weren't carded or cited during the past few weeks. It looks like the new status quo is that the laws will be applied in the club game but in Test matches they want to keep the big TV audiences happy.
  4. I think Miller's strength is literally his strength. He's got a powerlifter/world's strongest man type build. His punches don't have to be particularly accurate to wear down his opponents.
  5. Miller weighs the same as Valuev but he's a much better fighter. Heavyweight is completely different from the other divisions.
  6. That's an exciting looking team. Great to see Hogg isn't injured. Finn at 12 passing to Huw Jones should be fun.
  7. I would imagine if he is doing a deal then he will ask them to cut prices for autumn 2020. Oil workers are a tiny voting bloc compared to petrol consumers so - from his point of view - who cares. I'm half expecting a war with Iran in 2020 as well sadly. There's no way Bolton leaves the WH without invading somewhere.
  8. I would imagine his "success" came when a right wing think tank paid him lots of money to be an uncle tom.
  9. He's not stupid at all. Basically he is letting the Saudis off if they increase oil production which will help the American economy and his ratings. Until the EU or the UK enforce sanctions on Saudi Arabia then Trump is simply part of the western consensus.
  10. It's not really a shock is it? They let the Saudis off with 9/11 due to oil.
  11. So we need to get independence when PP are out of government...
  12. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There_is_no_alternative
  13. No one is withdrawing A50 without another referendum. We seem to be hitting peak TINA right now. Maggie would be pwoud.
  14. Or another way of looking at is that you are massive, hit hard and can absorb hard shots then you'll do well.
  15. There is zero chance Canelo fights Smith. He'll go back down to 160.
  16. Miller weighs more than 300 pounds and can fight at a decent tempo for 12 rounds. He isn't an easy fight for anyone.
  17. Anyway my team prediction for Friday. Bhatti Turner Rae Cummins Harley Ashe Gibbins Fagerson Price Thomson Jones McDowall Grigg Niko Hughes Stewart Bhatti Du Plessis Flockhart Smith Frisby Jackson Nairn
  18. They will surely still have Grigg and McDowall plus one or two of Dunbar/Johnstone/Horne when the RWC is on. Glasgow and Edinburgh both need to get more young backs involved anyway.
  19. It's going to be great when the DUP brings down the government.
  20. They obviously need to pay more and provide better conditions.
  21. https://www.jacobinmag.com/2018/11/midterm-elections-reconstruction-du-bois A good article about Democratic strategy and the midterm results.
  22. I don't doubt there are a few people in the Tory Party who see Fillipino and Bangladeshi slaves on the telly building luxury developments in Dubai and think that they need to get in on the action.
  23. Munns Vaults I don't if this is a wind up or not but Munn's is one of the few places in the world i'll have a bottle of beer. Between the rank beer and the stupidly positioned TV it's a terrible pub.
  24. I doubt they will be too bothered about that. Not many software developers are based in Burnley. The problem with immigration is an inelastic supply of unskilled labour distorts the labour market massively which undermines working class communities. There is also the obvious question about why the fairly dormant UK economy is producing more skilled jobs than our large pool of graduates can fill but again that's not really a concern the P&B fantasy Burnely Brexit Bloke.
