  1. Literally every BoE prediction has been wrong for years.
  2. Nick Clegg's wife has a column in the Guardian slamming May and Cameron for Brexit. This is a woman who shares a bed with a man who's austerity policies have destroyed hundreds of thousands of lives. Typical clueless bouji idiot.
  3. It seems more like a gesture than a genuine attempt to wind down the killing and end arms sales but hopefully it will shame our craven parliamemt into some sort of action.
  4. A lot of people on the left think the EU is beyond reform and the only solution to it's neoliberal structures is to leave. The EU state aid rules which are included in May's deal makes it difficult for the government to significantly intervene in the economy. In or out the UK is a wealthy country and has the means to provide the entire population with a dignified standard of living.
  5. He obviously knew. He has clearly researched her and her religious background was widely reported during the summer.
  6. Perhaps they have looked at the correlation between EU membership and wages dropping as a share of GDP and thought it might be time to get out? GDP means f**k all anyway in an individual context. The UK has got much richer in the past decade and the majority of the population have gotten poorer.
  7. This is the first time i've seen the original blog. What a crackpot. Edit Fucking hell!
  8. Brexit isn't everyone's primary issue. Ending austerity, supporting the NHS and creating a fairer and more balanced economy are a bigger priority for a lot of people.
  9. The Miami Herald is going to run a series exposing the full extent of Jeffrey Epstein's child abuse. It could be very bad for Trump, Bill Clinton and (hopefully) Prince Andrew. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/article221897990.html
  10. Did anyone say otherwise? I'm just refuting the fill in the blanks yourself conspiracy tha Savage Henry seems to revel in regarding Wikileaks.
  11. Quote the relevant part for me then. Your deep in a rabbit hole. Most of the brighter Russia nuts have realised after two years and zero actual evidence of collusion that this going to peter out but congratulations on perseverance. Louise Mensch would be proud.
  12. In what way? The two main factors that genuinely drive unionism won't change. (i) The fact that the protestant community vehemently doesn't want to become a minority in ROI (ii) ROI can't afford the economic costs of unification.
  13. https://edition-m.cnn.com/2018/11/27/politics/mueller-stone-corsi-wikileaks/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fedition.cnn.com%2Fpolitics This article which says exactly zero about the communications of Wikileaks? The amount of people on here who refer to articles they either didn't read or are incapable of comprehending is staggering.
  14. Why do you think that? He has done an incredible thing with Wikileaks and it's genuinely distressing to think where we would be without him and Snowden in terms of government accountability.
  15. Maybe a better lawyer came along. The Guardian have within the past 12 months had to retract outright lies about Assange. They have a visceral hatred for Assange.
  16. Looking at twitter the thing that most obviously marks this story out as bullshit is that the London media Assange haters - Aaronavitch, Cohen, Kamm, Hyde, Caddawaller, Rifkind - are all giving it a wide berth.
  17. A definite meeting becomes a possible meeting. Two sources become a single source. The article was only published five hours ago!
  18. Luke Harding wrote an article saying Ecuador has cameras all over the Embassay watching him. Moreno is an American stooge to the extent that Correa has sought asylum in Belgium.
  19. The changes are because they don't want to be sued.
  20. Untrue. They sent a few DMs on Twitter https://www.thedailybeast.com/roger-stone-and-wikileaks-directly-messaged-during-election
  21. The Guardian have already started walking back the story. The headline has been amended to "Sources say".
