  1. They have facial recognition technology. They don't need to do background checks on people and someone like Manafort who has been a political operative for 40 years is going to be on file. The Guardian have had to retract stories about Assange previously. And a couple of months ago they flared up a complete non story about Russia planning to help him "escape" from the embassay which gave the impression he was going to sneak out in dramatic fashion unless you read the article carefully and noticed the "plan" was for him to be allowed to leave the UK on an Ecuadoran diplomatic passport and Assange's lawyers asked the UK authorities if this would be possible. The Guardian is the publication with a history of Fake News on this topic.
  2. That has nothing to do with the price of T shirts.
  3. Nothing they have published has been discredited. If you can remember back to before the full scale propaganda operation against them began they published evidence of huge numbers of war crimes and assisted in publishing the Snowden files which exposed illegal surveillance and many crimes of lying to Congress by high ranking American officials.
  4. While i agree that the Guardian publish what the security services tell them to this all seems a bit convenient.
  5. Everyone who goes in is logged. The Met have spent £15 million on monitoring him FFS. For this to be true you need the following things to have happened. (i) Manafort decides to meet with Assange under the noses of the Security Services rather than send a proxy (ii) MI6 don't include the meeting in the Steele dossier (iii) It doesn't leak for two years despite the constant media war (iv) Manafort risks his plea deal by denying the visits despite knowing he is on camera (v) Wikileaks ruin their reputation by denying it. For it to be false all you need is that Luke Harding and the Guardian are publishing more Fake News about Assange (and funnily enough it happened shortly before a federal judge was due to rule on revealing his charges).
  6. Every single person that goes in and out is recorded. There's also about a zero percent chance it's not bugged. Bug Merkel. Bug the EU. Don't bug Assange...
  7. The Manafort meeting with Assange story is weird. There is 24 hour police and high def cameras recording there. It would surely have been leaked already.
  8. The richest but also the second worst dressed country in the world.
  9. Bangladeshi people would surely be better working in jobs where the end product/value created benefits Bangladesh rather than Primark shareholders and a tiny Bangladeshi elite. There is no reason why Bangladesh has to be a sweat shop other than it suits it's rulers.
  10. The problem is the people being exploited in the production of cheap clothes. Solving this requires import tarrifs which counter the value of exploitation to the likes of Primark.
  11. The DUP are genuine ideologues. They are arseholes but you would put your money on them standing on their principles longer than empty vessels like Chukka and Dominic Grieve.
  12. If the Ukraine bins elections it will be the State Department's crowning glory.
  13. Corbyn will surely just talk about a hypothetical Labour deal tying in with their manifesto pledges and conference platform.
  14. "On Thanksgiving weekend" is a bit Do They Know It's Christmas.
  15. The AIs feel like a bit of a damp squib for us. The injuries to Scott, Bradbury and Thompson meant we didn't really get the chance to improve key areas and it feels like we are still building when we should be refining.
  16. Niko's playing like he wants to be starting the Champions Cup games.
  17. Defensive lynch-pin Niko Matawalu with the steal and the try
  18. Rennie deserves credit for building depth by improving so many players. It was only two years ago since they lost 5-22 at home to Ospreys with this shocker of a team.
  19. That should be a yellow (even though i'm not sure what the pen was).
  20. They must spend a good bit of time practising that behind the back pass.
  21. Big Kiran McDonald could be a handy player going forward.
  22. Great try there. The lock was hilarious up against Grigg.
  23. Just the standard from your own 22 world class try.
  24. Niko's two boys better be Scotland qualified!
