  1. If it’s play offs all round, (incl Accies), I’m okay with that.
  2. Actually had a long laugh at this. Either Kenny (or his ghost writer) is an absolutely fantastic wind-up merchant or sadly, he should be getting checked up for early onset. https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/a-one-off-play-off-would-be-a-far-fairer-way-of-determiningwhere-hearts-play-next-season/ Brilliant. Play off for the League title too maybe? That would get a big TV audience.
  3. Also claimed a few pages back that he thinks he was filmed in the away end at the last St Mirren v Hearts match. Walter Mitty fantasist, I reckon.
  4. Now, that would make an interesting court case. But it is fairly normal for the bigger party being challenged by the smaller aggrieved party, to threaten to throw their weight about even more.
  5. Well, not quite. They changed the rules and made a decision (maybe improperly) to follow one course of action to the benefit of some and to the detriment of others. There were alternative courses of action available.
  6. You would think so - if it was reported correctly and if it was reported fully, i.e. what was said/minuted leading up to the decision?
  7. So, when you said Patick are happy to shaft teams when it suits them, what were you getting at?
  8. Is that why Ayr voted the way they did? Ian McColl? Call the leagues and miss out on a possible play-off place? I did wonder a few months back, but thought nah. Too petty. Don't even mention it. Sssake
  9. Of course. You were arguing their case when it wasn’t too late? Aye, right. Apologies if I’m not Einstein. Still. Bright enough to spot hypocrisy when I see it.
  10. Sure. You’ve been banging the drum for Partick for months. Not. btw why no sympathy for Falkirk - one point beind Raith with a home game against them to come?
  11. Green Day - I get how Hearts have enemies and how Hibbies in particular would want to stick it to us. But no reasonable person could argue that Partick (or Falkirk) deserve what they are being dished up, surely to fck?
  12. Makes it harder and harder for AB to press the red button because as each day passes, legal action gets more disruptive and potentially damaging for the SPFL if they lose. And despite the fans' view, she isn't trigger happy.
  13. So are you positing or not positing that he's given them the league sponsorship? Posit away.
  14. You think he's maybe sold that as part of the solution? It was worth £2m pa. You reckon SKY have got an undeclared refund of a few years at £2m pa?. So, not just me in the tin foil hat then. Thought I was a lone voice in the wilderness with this one. Welcome aboard Green Day - thought I was in a Minority, or even the only Basket Case with this Grouch.
  15. I didn’t ever say they would pull out. The opposite, I said they wouldn’t want to leave the door open to BT or another. But what I said they will do is renegotiate the £30m pa. I still say that. They have already got their pound of flesh for 2019-20. And the SPFL statement had some odd, clunky wording about the deal. Something along the lines of it being “in accordance with long term partnership of SPFL”. Have SKY maybe been promised free sponsorship of the leagues as part of the settlement? I wish a journalist would ask the question.
  16. Just short Monday. Wee bit persuasion Tues. Vote still short Wed. Big decision for Budge Thurs. Do you think I can get that bet as an accumulator?
  17. Not sure that the SPFL board, SKY and Celtic will be quite as relaxed as StJ.
  18. Oh good - there’s an important point of legal principle to resolve? So, it can be appealed for the next 6 months all the way to the Supreme Court in London?
  19. The 48 hrs vote was really "it". The die was cast and after that difficult to get any alternative considered, let alone passed. You've got a point about the later confirmatory vote though. If it was correctly reported as unanimous, I don't understand our thinking at that point.
  20. No, they changed the rules to end the season. Hence the need for an 80% vote. In theory could have finished the league much later in the year. But to clear the decks for the new SKY contract and Celtic’s CL campaign, they rushed it through in 48hrs with the £9m money carrot. However much you don’t like Hearts (or Partick or Falkirk) and however much some clubs need their SKY fix, that was underhand and wrong.
