Really there is nothing keeping Holt here. He has performed shockingly in his role to get a team and performances on the pitch, he may have got the youth setup running, however, Fegus is probably doing everything for that now so what is Holt doing? If they argue tonight that Holt is running the youth stuff and doing it well, then the counter argument should be that we have a CEO with plenty of experience in running a youth development, so Holt should be punted and let our CEO take that under his responsibility, which will allow the Manager to manage everything

Keena took gambles when he came on. He tried to lob the keeper and he tried a quick ball over the top to Ruth, which almost came off. Passing it about is fine but you need to mix it up and take a gamble at times

This is where Sheerin needs to sort things out. Yesterday we played it about the back until we got into danger and passed it back to Martin to launch it. I can guarantee that on each occasion one of the defenders could have taken the gamble to try a ball over the top or out to the wing but instead we piss about and Martin ended up having to launch it into the air in a panic. No point in trying to play passing football if you end up launching it anyway

Or could it be that when he was interviewed he was told how the club (sporting director) wanted us to play football and how that style would be implemented and they agreed to it. He’s got the job and the club expressed that he got the job because he shared a vision on how they want to play, so changing might not be an option for him if his boss is telling him to stick with it.
