Holt’s role should be a staff position and if Falkirk have done it all correctly, then they can make him redundant with one weeks notice and one weeks pay. If we do decide we need a DOF then wait 6 months and advertise the role. As for people saying he’a doing a good job on the development side, this may be true but you do realise our CEO ran the Forth Valley Academy. I’m sure he could help oversee that if Holt goes.

Gary Miller is a right back. It’s been the position he’s played the majority of his career. Regardless of who the opposition is, if he’s been playing well then it’s unfair to drop him. I’m not saying he should be starting but I do also think it would have been unfair to drop him yesterday

You’ve never managed or been part of a football team by the sounds of it. You very rarely drop a guy who is playing well, regardless if the guy waiting in the wings is better. Miller had been playing well up until yesterday so tightly kept his position. I fully expect Williamson to get his chance now

Miller is only playing because Williamson is just back from injury and up until yesterday, Miller had been playing well. Williamson will start now and it’s his position to lose

Sheerin will not get us promoted so has to go. Whilst watching Ruth and Keena play up top on their own the past few weeks, it dawned on me that the player we have that would have best suited that position was probably Anton Dowds, yet Sheerin decided to punt him out on loan. Sheerin is done!

I know a lot won’t agree but I can see why Sheerin picks Hetherington, especially over Arnaldo. Hetherington covers a lot of ground and when a team breaks you tend to find he is there to cover, whereas, from what I’ve seen of Arnaldo, he doesn’t look very mobile at all. I’m not saying there isn’t better out there for that position but from a defensive point of view, Hetherington does his job. He should be getting the ball and moving it onto the likes of Telfer straight away though as he is limited when trying to pass forward. I may eat my words next week but I think we may be in for a shock, especially if he plays Arnaldo
