You do realise you could put this up about any potential signing and get similar numbers. What would be a more interesting statistic is how many would honestly walk away from the club. I know plenty of people who don’t want us to sign him but it wouldn’t stop them supporting the club and buying season tickets

Could you imagine if the board took the gamble and signed him and he ended up being utter shit. They’d have ruined the club completely. Regarding the fee, there may be a clause in his contract that means he can leave if he gets offered full time football, which would make him more appealing for some clubs.

Let’s just remember that Holt singled out and embarrassed two strikers who are still employed by the club to justify his signing of Wilson. For that alone he should have been binned. Why would Dowds want to come back and work his arse off for a club that put that out for everyone to see.

I really don’t think the Goodwillie rumours will come to anything. This transfer was binned before so I can’t see why the new board would let it go through as one of their first involvements at the club. As said above, the only way I could see it happening is through pure desperation

I agree with that. I’m fully vaccinated and believe everyone should be, however, the post I quoted made it sound like being vaccinated stopped you from spreading it

Vaccinated people can spread the virus just the same as unvaccinated so they aren’t endangering others any more or less than people with the vaccination. They will, however, more likely need hospital treatment, which puts pressure on the NHS and ends up with rules being imposed and potential lockdowns for everyone.

The hypocrisy on here is actually laughable. Some of the same people who wouldn’t buy season tickets or go to games until members of the board were gone are now lambasting fans who are not willing to hand over their cash till they see the change they want. Personally, I know nobody of the new board so I’m not just going to back it as if it’s going to be all roses and a roaring success, however, if I believe they are moving in the right direction, then I will be happy to contribute to it.

I read that. Keep going on about the hours he’s doing but are they efficient hours? I’d rather have a DOF working 38 productive hours than someone working 70 with less productivity

I’m not saying I agree but they’re entitled to have a Xmas night out. Is a boss allowed to tell an employee they’re not invited to the works night out because they’re underperforming? The guys are allowed their own personal time and let’s not forget, this is just a job to them.
