  1. O'Hara's two main moments was yet again showing his inability to stay onside.
  2. Lack of goals and decent attacking play is killing our season.
  3. Top notch stream to be fair. Not 5 minutes behind real time either.
  4. Can't tell if you are joking or not. Hope it's the former.
  5. I watched our ICT game in December with the laptop volume down. I guess I was fortunate in doing so.
  6. ParsTV give shout outs to sponsors thoughout the games. Don't bother me to be honest.
  7. We've won one game since November's win against Hearts and that was 91st minute winner at home to Arbroath. I can't see us making the play-offs unless there's a turn around in the way we approach games. Far too defensive minded. I thought Ayr players looked more comfortable on the ball than us last week. Our good start is the reason we somehow still sit in second place.
  8. Good signing with Jack Hamilton. He's the ytpe of striker we could do with. Goals and can handle himself.
  9. I counted 5. Mullen, Afolabi, Sow, Jakubiak and Cummings. Have you not got some bloke called Hamilton too?
  10. Exciting times for Dundee. I think Dundee's budget for stikers is probably bigger than our first eleven's wages. JC could be a masterstroke or a very expensive mistake. I think he will do very well for Dundee though unfortunately.
  11. 30% sell on, money for a Scotland cap and money for Hibs getting into Europe is all part of the deal. That's what I was told at the time and I believe their info.Might be wrong though. If you look back at comments from Ross at the time, he quoted as being extremely happy with the deal negotiated. I'm sure he's not talking about the 250k after being offered 400k a few months earlier. The Courier also discribes the sell-on as substanstial and other papers refer to the size of sell-on. This is not just a decent 15-20% sell on. This deal was based on making big money on Nisbet further down the line rather than taking a bit more cash up front.
  12. No chance for them so fleece an extra 2 quid out of us this time. The penny counters will not be happy with BBC
  13. We're always set-up cautiously. Hearts will have to work for their goals. The big problem is that attacking is a seconary thought with Crawford. We will happily give Hearts all the posession they want 40 plus yards from our goal. The constant pressure will take it's toll eventually and I can't see us scoring based on recent performances.
  14. Yeah, he's got six goals but only two from open play. The three penalties certainly have put a shine on his record. I disagree that he's done well winning the ball. Normally a bad first touch and ball is lost. He's not suited to playing with his back to goal imo.
  15. You can still play football with somebody up top who has the strength and ability to hold the ball up the top end of the park and bring the flair players into the game in attacking areas. You seem to think a target man can only be 6,5 donkey that has balls lumped at his head all day.
  16. Still think we need a different type of striker. I would like to see McCann go out and score a few goals further down the leagues to find his scoring touch. I would then bring in a more experienced physical striker. Can't bear watching McManus being used as a lone target man any longer. Doesn't suit him at all. He should be feeding off a target man.
  17. Pars winning the league cup would be tremendous. Hardly just above the challenge cup when you have the top division teams trying to win it.
  18. No it's not. It's would be better to lose and win than draw two games, so trying to score more goals and take more chances defensively would hopefully produce more points and be a much better watch.
  19. I thought Ayr just looked a better team at passing the ball around midfield. More composed players in the middle of the park. Our three midfielders don't have any understanding between them. One or two passes and it breaks down. The build up is so slow and predictable that it gives the opposition time to read our passes. It leads to the full backs by-passing the midfield and hitting it long to the likes of McManus who's not a target man in a month of Sundays. His ball control is atrocious. The rare occassions we manage to get Dow and Thomas in the game, they are unable to beat their man or put a decent ball in. They're completely ineffective at the moment. We need a strong striker that can hold the ball up and act as a foil for O'Hara and McManus to do what they are best at, which is running on to balls behind the defence. Not playing with their back to goal. The defence are doing well but that's because we are abandoning any attacking threat in the process. Dull, negative football. I would rather lose a couple games playing a bit more expansive and playing on the front foot. I know we are second in the league but it doesn't feel like it due to the boring style of play. I can't be arsed watching the Pars right now. The problem is that Crawford's instincts as a manger is try keep a clean sheet first then we will think about winning games. I can't see him ever changing this safety first approach. Nisbet was a great outlet for him last year but it doesn't work with the personal we have up top this season.
  20. Utter boring crap again. Dow and Thomas utter rubbish, nothing up top and nobody creating in midfield.
  21. Aye, refresh is in top tight corner. Worked for me
  22. This passing the ball around the back four then aimless ball to McManus where it breaks down if really pissing me off. It all we do. Utter crap
  23. Nice touch at the end by Bell there. Seems a right decent bloke. Was a brilliant player at his peak with us.
