  1. But our authorities absolutely don't want that. Because they understand the massive negatives on health this creates. Thats why they've continually promoted exercise throughout. Including our public health experts 'Not conflicting at all. You can leave home for exercise, supplies and essential work and travel if you are asymptomatic and not high risk.' Source - the boay Leitch
  2. I don't accept that at all. Someone seeing me in the middle of a field doesn't make them say 'here, let's all have a bevvy at Janet's..ill get on the blower '
  3. Do I know whether we're going to save 1000 people and kill 2000 by stopping people exercising? No. Do I know that there's no need for responsible people to stop exercising? Yes.
  4. The impact of exercise on mental health is long established
  5. There's absolutely no point saving lives from coronavirus and losing them to suicide. I'm not sure people understand how many lives exercise saves every day.
  6. Exactly. That's where I am too. Provided you practice effective social distancing its hugely beneficial to be outside exercising.
  7. Its always made me laugh when people have this romanticised view of Scots or BritNats or whatever their nation of choice is. When the reality is that it's c**t central.
  8. The deaths being caused by Covid are i agree regrettable but the worst aspect of this crisis is people sending me Janey Godley's 'comedy'
  9. To try and not be a c**t here I see that JTS98 means well. I really do. His heart is in the right place.
  10. I'll see your Masters in Public Health professor and raise you...
  11. Oh really? Name them.... Is it your cousin from another town that went to that other school..nah, you won't know them, they left in 4th year and went to..
  12. I'm not saying we shouldn't go into lockdown. I can see the reasons for that. Those reasons being people aren't following Social distancing guidelines. Because they're idiots.
  13. Aye, its a shit picture! Trying to show himself as a ruler whilst being inches away from two others.. fanny
  14. So, you do know more than Jason Leitch then, who is suggesting going outside for walks is absolutely fine.. To quote the man himself 'Where did you get your Masters in Public health?'
  15. Because more restrictive measures are only required because people aren't following the currently advised measures. There's absolutely no danger if you are following the current guidelines properly. Me going to the park for a walk 100m from another soul is zero risk to anyone.
  16. No, you're wrong. Those places are shut because its impossible to ensure you will be more than 2m away from people and they have surfaces people are touching. Have you listened to nothing Jason Leitch has said or are you more qualified than him? Hes just retweeted this ffs https://twitter.com/susan_pym/status/1241461346375479296?s=20 A very clear example of correct #SocialDistancing. Hugh Pym is 2 metres tall. This is what 2m looks like. #CoronaCrisisuk #Covid_19 #BeLikeHughBeTwo https://t.co/BAqjZdHiAd
  17. No they aren't. Social distancing is staying 2m apart. If you aren't staying 2m apart you aren't practising social distancing. I think the problem here is that you don't understand what that means, so have just invented your own definition.. As I said you are talking about lockdown. We may get there, but we're not there yet. And if we do get there its because idiots don't practise social distancing.
  18. I think this is likely too.. full lockdown middle of the week maybe.
  19. What the government are currently advising is that exercise is a very good thing, for mental and physical health. You are not being advised not to exercise. Its perfectly safe to go for a walk in the park.
  20. What you're describing is lockdown not social distancing.
  21. I'm still going out for walks. I live near Inverleith Park. Its very easy to stay metres away from another soul.
  22. Temporarily maybe, and even then its not clear that a lot of negotiations can't take place over Teams . Plenty companies are managing to do that. I've got no problem delaying it a few months. Got a lot of problems with people trying to use this to reverse it.
