  1. There's McBookie taken it off the market... Is Jim McIntyre our new manager?
  2. I think this would be case, especially due to the Covid testing policy. Unless they got a test whenever the test deadline was for tomorrow's match...?
  3. I'm optimistic we get the news tonight. Around 8.30pm. Alternatively, first thing tomorrow morning! I had a look on McBookie last night as I was wanting to place a bet, but the market wasn't there. Neither was the Celtic managers job. Seems random when the list is up or down on McBookie.
  4. The difference I think though would be the fans who would be at Hampden could all be traced, even to a pinpoint location where their seat is, and it would be a very organised and structured event. So yeah it's a mass gathering, but nothing like yesterday. But yeah, I don't feel anywhere near as optimistic as I did.
  5. So what we thinking about matches at Hampden after today's events...? I for one am gutted, and think our chance might be gone. Was going to be touch and go anyway.
  6. Aye obviously that's not the current working pattern. But I'd say that the majority of the population still work Monday to Friday in whatever capacity. To give fans the option to watch a game if they can't make it to Somerset is great. Not sure if the broadcasting rules might revert back?
  7. I would like to know the viewing figures for our streamed home games. You know how many we're getting itzdrk?
  8. Yeah absolutely! I considered posting that, but wasn't sure what the demand would be compared with the cost to run it.
  9. Absolutely this. Sorry to say this, but imo it makes ours look really poor. Hopefully though we won't need to worry about it for next season. ETA: Lauren is by far the better co-commentator than Morton's.
  10. It's hard not to get carried away after so long without a win! But we did play well, and the goals were well taken. I think we'll be fine (8th or above). It's also hard not to start thinking about an Ayrshire derby next season...
  11. It really is tinpot. Little things like that do matter. Whoever makes up the team sheet graphic needs telt.
  12. I think the idea came about because it was mentioned that Smith had already lined up a few candidates for interview, and if he got his man, I suggested they could bring forward or remove the closing date. Also the fact that we're needing someone in ASAP. I reckon on Monday evening we'll get some news, unless there's some last minute applications. I believe it's you who is in charge of the Twitter (I could be way off)? Better get some #imminent Tweets ready!
  13. You can easily change/remove a closing date. Might not look too good but if you've got your man you've got your man.
  14. Hopkin moved from 4/1 to 6/4 with McBookie. Quite a few people backing him then.
  15. If I was going to put a bet on, it would have been for him. So thank you for not letting me waste my money, but ffs I would have loved him as our manager.
  16. Right who did you back Robbo? So that we don't!
  17. The scary thing is, you never know. Nobody saw Kerr coming, and it was his good interview that got him the job. If Strain gets an interview...
  18. Also heard some semi-reliable chat about Chris Strain applying. I see he's also on the McBookie list (not that it means much).
  19. Real Kashmir manager David Robertson... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-robertson-emerges-ayr-boss-23588197
  20. Ian Murray, Peter Murphy, Maurice Ross... I'm getting nervous we'll appoint one of these three. Robbo has backed someone, so that's interesting. Purely out of speculation or ever so slightly ITK? I really think Smith will splash out on this appointment and make money available to the new manager (even though he's denied that he would) to match his stated ambition for us. We've surely learned our lesson on cheap appointments? At least these "cheaper" managers have experience unlike Kerr. Interviews will obviously be held online, so shouldn't take long to organise. I think we might have someone in for Saturday if one of Smith's candidates he's going to approach is up for it and interviews well. Might not need the Monday 8th deadline for people to note interest.
  21. Yeah I agree with this. This is obviously a very important appointment, so we probably do need that experienced head. I'm nervous about the thought of a League One/Two manager who is looking to step up (Darren Young for example).
  22. Something might give tomorrow. Smith and the board will no doubt be having conversations today about the state of things (I assume).
