If this coach is going to be in the dugout tomorrow, why hasn't it been announced? -

Robbo's silence is deafening. Almost Skyline Drifter esque after Galloway. Makes me think something's going on behind the scenes. -
After making many rash statements, then taking them back, and thinking Kerr's doing alright, and that he should be sacked... I think with that performance there, our league position, and with Smith at the helm... I think it's time for Kerr to go. Who replaces him? f**k knows. But sadly it's not worked out.

Stopped watching after 60 or so minutes. Absolutely woeful. I think we'll finish 8th.

Ndaba's run he went on against Alloa reminded me of Harvie's run against Dundee United (which did end up with a goal though). He does look class, and just bullies players around him. I think he could be the most important of the January signings. Must win tomorrow. 3-1 Ayr.

Pitch inspection confirmed for 9am tomorrow.

Lochee United vs Ayr United - That must make the Dens pitch look immaculate?

Thank God Faddy is there. Sutherland and Crichton don't have a clue. So condescending. -

Quite right! Moaning faced b*****d. Never a pen. I'm feeling confident after tonight. We play like that for the rest of the season we're going to be challenging for 4th. -

Shame they had to cut him off. I think I'll join the AU500 now, do my bit. -

As individuals, and a football team, we needed that today. We built on a decent performance last week and looked relatively comfortable when we got to 4-1. Hard game on Friday, but that result today was massive. COYA! -
Ayr United v Alloa Athletic

Without Ndaba and Wright. Two excellent performances from them today. Questioned Moff coming on but that quickly changed. -

The ref's giving free kicks for some excellent challenges, and then nothing for the foul on Wright when he would have been through on goal. Nothing unusual sadly. -

Yeah he's looking good so far! Ball sticks to his feet and winning plenty in the air. -

Would be very disappointing considering we paid a fee for him. -

Yeah he's definitely found his level. When he can be bothered he's a useful player to have. Sadly he definitely cares more about his image than progressing as a footballer. -
Rescheduled for Tuesday 9th February. Dundee may have a playable pitch by then, and an injury free squad. Ayr might also have won a game between now and then. I'm not confident about any of it.

I'll take that. We actually managed to string some passes together, and probably should have got a goal from Moffat. Thought Dunfermline would have more of a go, again could have had a goal or two, but I think we looked far better at the back than we have done.

100% my preferred option is a top quality grass surface, something we've not had though since Harko left the club. If we can fix the current problems and equip the groundsmen with the proper tools, I'd vote for that all day long. Livingston is a bad example to use, their pitch is rotten. Raith and Alloa on the other hand, their plastic pitches are much better. -

All fair and valid points. There was no research on my part on the number I plucked out. Obviously it will cost a lot to install, but we must spend a small fortune on renting school pitches and facilities from the council though. So there's the money saved from that, and as I said in an earlier post, the pitch can be let out sustainably so not to drastically increase wear. On the naming of the stadium, I guess it's all about who is wanting to sponsor it. A big name could be willing to splash the cash, particularly for a stadium like Somerset that is so often spoken about as a favourite of away fans, and has even recently been mentioned on national TV for this reason, and has had widespread publicity on social media for this too. We also have an obscure following from people who are into Bitcoin, so there's that overseas market that companies could be tapping into through stadium advertising.
