  1. Hopefully we can get a striker in for the weekend [emoji1696] It’s been very quiet on the signing front. Think the fans and probably the players could do with a lift.
  2. Crazy talk from Mike in that interview. He’s either on the shrooms or heading for the asylum [emoji12] What happened to the news Leodhas?
  3. Did you not get the ok? C’mon, we are desperate for some hopefully good news [emoji1696]
  4. That was dire!! One up top is no use when that player is as lazy as Henderson. Although Andy should have done better at their goal it came from Hendo not putting in a challenge in their half. I’d boot his arse and knock some of that laziness out him if I was in charge. Ferguson really needs to have a look at how he sets us up, I could take being in a relegation battle if we were having a go but it’s so defensive. Get an equaliser, sit in. Bring on a striker, shift the other striker to left mid. Boring and no wonder we’ve not won since October. Just let the boys loose and have a good go at teams, they are more than good enough. Unpleasant scenes to witness at the end with Paddy, he’s not who should have been in that position. Just wish Ferguson would f**k off, it’s been shit since he came in [emoji17] Had Peter Grant had any backing last year I’m sure we’d still be in the championship. Grim times to be following the Wasps.
  5. Running scared? Just play the COVID card!! Seems a bit late in the day to have realised they had no players available, the game was still showing on this morning on BBC sport, so when did they test? This madness has to end, COVID has mutated into a cold and life needs to get back to some semblance of normality.
  6. Tbh I think Andy would be an excellent choice to take over. Obviously he’d be an unknown quality as a coach but he has been here long enough to know the Alloa way, when we were a good club to be at and support. The players respect him, he has displayed class and professionalism while relegated to the bench and throughout his time at Alloa. He’s everything Ferguson isn’t and I don’t think there’s an Alloa fan out there that would disagree. I personally hoped he would have been given the chance when Grant went. C’mon Mulraney give us an early Xmas present.
  7. Was very disappointed in the result yesterday and have slept on it to allow some calmer reflection. We played some fantastic football yesterday, using the wide players effectively, created enough chances to easily win that game and really limited Clyde to very few goal scoring opportunities. What went wrong for us? Some great saves, some poor finishing, the woodwork, goal line clearances and a fantastic strike from Love. I thought that our set up prior to going behind was working and really felt a goal was coming. However, when going behind and Clyde making substitutions and taking a striker off to go 5 at the back I am at a loss to explain why Ferguson didn’t change our formation and personnel to get at them. Almost twenty minutes after their goal for us to make a substitution and it’s an offensive player for another. We shouldn’t need four defenders and two defensive midfielders when Clyde had one man up, we should have been set up to have a real go. Another showing of Fergusons inability/unwillingness to adapt to changing circumstances during the game. Sometimes you need need to go to plan B and it seems he doesn’t have one. I am genuinely worried we are going to be drawn into the relegation battle and Barry Ferguson isn’t someone our players can look too for inspiration, support or leadership. He’s under achieving massively with this squad and should concentrate on his punditry. We need someone in charge who can make Alloa a good team to come and play for and also engage with the supporters. There’s just been a bad feeling about the place since he came in, fans feel /ignored and players disciplinary record has been poor. Coincidence? I think not. Get a decent gaffer in before the transfer window in January.
  8. Well, at least Falkirk are getting the mother of all pumpings. Was maybe harsh for the second booking but Ferguson needs to sort out the indiscipline now. It all stems from him
  9. Sadly, I am also giving this game a body swerve. Long term season ticket holder but £18 for this game is taking the piss. I am feeling increasingly disenchanted with the direction the club has been taking in recent times. BF is ruining the community feel we have had at the club and Mulraney and his rip off attitude to loyal fans is disgusting. Was more than happy keeping the season ticket going during COVID and leaving the club with the refund that was due. Loyalty should go both ways. Also, I’d love to see the books and what happened to the £500k COVID payment.
  10. What happened with the support? Didn’t see/hear anything from the stand
  11. Bad challenge from Niang put us under pressure right from the off. I thought we defended well and were unfortunate not to go ahead when Kevs kick hit the post. Another blunder from Mendy and its 2-1, neither him or Robbo covering themselves in glory in the build up to the penalty. Mendy, for all he does well during a game is costing us a goal nearly every game. Get Andy or Howie in beside Durnan. Can’t fault the fight from the 10 boys on the park today but time to rest Mendy for me.
  12. We’ve been crying out for fan engagement from the manager since he took the reigns, this isn’t what it looks like. Proper chav behaviour and an embarrassment to the club.
  13. https://www.scottishrugby.org/news/%C2%A3500k-hardship-fund-launched Be nice to see something similar from SFA SPFL
  14. That was fantastic! Great to see grant going with pace up front to get in behind ICT defence. Could have easily been four or five today. Only one team playing football today, Parry just takes so much pressure off the defence coming for crosses. Buzzing:-)
  15. No Deas for Alloa again but MASSIVE news as Neil Parry makes his come back. Absolutely great to see the big guy back, hope he’s fully recovered. Come on the Wasps, let’s do this!!
  16. Seemingly a virus, nothing serious according to Jack Haugh on Twitter.
  17. This didn’t look likely a few weeks ago. Keep it going Alloa
  18. Kevin O’Hara on [emoji91] can’t stop scoring. Great result, especially with Jamie going off first half!
  19. Agreed, we noticed that early on and were surprised that you had changed from the last time we played you. That first game had been one of the best performances I’d seen at ours all season. I do think that we changed it up a bit this time and went long when we had to.
  20. O’Haras second goal, a thing of beauty! Same again second half from the Wasps and I’ll be happy. Team playing well. You guys will be hoping for some heavy rain [emoji299]️
  21. I’ve got enough trouble reading things the right way round :-)
